Three days after the arrival of her son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, Emily Ratajkowski took to her Instagram to reveal that she had joined the league of celebrity moms as she welcomed her son on March 8, 2021.

Ever since she became a mother, the model has spoken out about her personal development with motherhood. Emily Ratajkowski does not hesitate to show her love for her son, and on June 9, 2022, she took things further by tattooing her son's name on her body.

In the image the model shared on her Instagram page, she showed off the side of a foot and the inside of two arms with the tattoos of "Sly," her son's nickname.

She did the tattoos with a minimalist font, and in the second slide, Ratajkowski showed off she and baby Sly seated at a restaurant. For the caption of her post, the model wrote "sly forever" with an infinity symbol.

Bear-McClard is a seasoned film producer whose credits include "Good Time," "Uncut Gems," "Mad Love in New York," "Frownland," "Broken Flowers," and "Heaven Knows What," among others.

However, "Uncut Gems" is his most high-profile project to date, which earned him a nomination for Best Feature at the Independent Spirit Awards. In 2014, they also nominated him for an Independent Spirit Award for "Heaven Knows What."

He founded Elara Pictures with the Safdie brothers, Joshua and Ben, and producer Oscar Boyson. Elara Pictures is a New York City independent movie studio. They have worked on Oneohtrix Point Never's "The Pure and the Damned" video and Jay-Z's "Marcy Me" music video, among other projects.

The five-foot-seven-inch tall model and Bear-McClard were first seen together in public on February 13, 2018, ten days before their civil wedding, but they never confirmed their relationship.

However, before their romantic relationship, they were friends for a few years and were in the same friend group. When Bear-McClard proposed to Ratajkowski, he did not have a ring and had to improvise with a paper clip.

Once news of their marriage broke, everyone thought they rushed into it, but the model revealed that the speculations were false, and Bear-McClard loves to joke that she vetted him for two years.

Bear-McClard, who comes from a family of artists, has his family's support for his relationship with Ratajkowski. His uncle, Peter McClard, said he is a great listener and a good and caring guy.

EMILY RATAJKOWSKI'S SON

When her son turned one, the model celebrated his birthday and said his birth was the most magical day of her life. She revealed that her son had brought her joy and magic she had never imagined. Ratajkowski once said:

"I wanted a daughter initially, but when I found out I was having a son, I was so relieved."

Ratajkowski said she felt relieved because she was not ready to deal with a daughter being sexualized before puberty and being aware of it. However, seeing as she wants more children, she might have to deal with that later.

DID EMILY RATAJKOWSKI WRITE A BOOK?

Published on November 9, 2021, Ratajkowski's book, "My Body," became an instant New York Times bestseller as it was the most anticipated book of Fall 2021. The book is a non-linear memoir of Ratajkowski's reminiscences dating back to her adolescence.

In her book, the model explained that because she appealed to men, they granted whatever influence and status she had gained. Ratajkowski also stated that her body was only valuable if it functioned as a commodity.
