Courteney Cox’s Plastic Surgery: The ‘Friends’ Star Admitted She Went Too Far with Facial Injections
Courteney Cox is one of the few women in Hollywood who has been candid about the cosmetic operations she had done on her face. The "Friends" star claimed she had a lot of work done, admitting to going too far at one point and looking completely unrecognizable.
On June 15, 2022, Alabama-born star Courteney Cox turned 58. She was born into affluence, raised in an exclusive society town, and was the typical daddy's girl and family's last child. However, her life changed when her parents divorced in 1974 and her father moved to Florida.
Even though she was a cheerleader, tennis player, and swimmer, Cox was a rebellious teen. In her final year of high school, she modeled for the first time, and even though she decided to study architecture and interior design, she dropped out to pursue a modeling career.

Cox attended acting classes while modeling, and in 1984, she landed a role in one episode of "As the World Turns." She got her big break when she starred in the Bruce Springsteen video, "Dancing in The Dark."
Cox soon made it big in acting and even met her actor husband, David Arquette, on the set of "Scream" in 1996. They married on June 12, 1999, and welcomed their daughter Coco on June 13, 2004, after multiple miscarriages.
After 12 years of marriage and one year and seven months of separation, Cox filed for divorce on June 8, 2012, and finalized the divorce on May 28, 2013.
WHAT HAPPENED TO COURTENEY COX'S FACE? THE "FRIENDS" STAR ADMITTED GOING TOO FAR WITH PLASTIC SURGERY
In 2016, Cox admitted to having done plastic surgery in an episode of "Running Wild With Bear Grylls." She said that despite the comments on social media, she felt lucky and didn't feel burdened by it. Cox stated:
"I think there's a pressure to maintain [your looks], not just because of fame, but just, you know, being a woman in this business. Getting older has not been … I don't think it's the easiest thing."
Cox said she was trying to chase getting older but realized that it was something she could not keep up with because, despite trying, she would look at her picture and knew she looked horrible.
The "Friends" star further stated that she had done things that she regretted, but she was lucky they were things that dissolved and went away because they were not always her best look. Cox knew she had to stop with the injections and the things she did to her face.
Cox said getting older was hard, and even though she feels like she is in her thirties, the thought that she is not in her thirties does not seem natural. However, she feels better than ever as she takes much better care of herself now.
IS COURTENEY COX DONE WITH BEAUTY TREATMENTS?
Currently, Cox said she is as natural as she can be, making her feel better because she looks like herself. The actress had to learn to embrace movement and realize that fillers were not her friend.
She does not know what the future holds, but she knows that she wants to stay natural. Cox said she believes in getting laser treatments, micro-needling, and microcurrent technology which makes sense to strengthen the muscles.
