David Harbour and Lily Allen's Relationship: From First Meet to Marriage

David Harbour's "Stranger Things" character may have a complicated love life, but offscreen, he has a whirlwind romance and is happily married to Lily Allen. Here is a look at their relationship from the first time they met until they married.

On June 13, 2022, English singer Lily Allen looked chic and made the news as she attended the Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner wearing a racy black lace top with no bra.

The longtime Chanel ambassador, who has been famous for her fashion choices and music, opted for a lacey material that left nothing to the imagination, even though the top featured long sleeves and a high neckline with a collar.

The singer, who was out without her hubby, finished her daring ensemble with a black velvet skirt and matching bedazzled mini-bucket bag. Allen wore her dark hair in a high bun featuring an artfully undone fringe.

She accessorized with Chanel logo stud earrings and some ear cuffs while completing her ensemble with black stockings and rounded Mary Jane heels. For makeup, Allen opted for subtle highlighter, lip gloss, and shimmering eyeshadow to give her a youthful radiance.

In August 2019, Harbour and Allen were spotted enjoying a night out in London, where they attended a performance of The Lehman Trilogy. They also reportedly had dinner together before leaving in the same cab.

Allen admitted that they first met on a celebrity dating app while Harbour was shooting a film in London, where he played a Russian character. For their first date, which was her first-ever date, they went to the Wolseley.

They soon attended a boxing match in London where a fan spotted them. In October 2019, Allen accompanied Harbour to his "Saturday Night Live" debut after-party.

In January 2020, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, and in April of the same year, they were quarantined together.

On September 6, 2020, amid engagement rumors, Harbour and Allen reportedly filed for a marriage license in Las Vegas. She later revealed on Instagram that they married at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

For their intimate Las Vegas wedding, Elvis impersonator Brendan Paul officiated the ceremony. At the same time, Allen's children, Ethel and Marnie, were her flower girls who wore matching pink ruffled dresses while holding pink and orange roses.

Allen opted for a belted 1960s-style short Dior blazer dress with a pair of suede Miu Miu platforms, a bouquet of mauve and peach roses, and a veil. For their reception, they had their favorite takeaway, In-N-Out burgers.

Harbour wore a black suit paired with a white shite and a black and white polka dot tie. After their wedding, Harbour revealed that their marriage is a steep learning curve. He said:

"I now have two stepdaughters and they are more than I ever bargained for in both beautiful and awful ways. I never really wanted to have kids. And I get it now, why everybody has kids."

He further stated that while the girls had made it their duty to hurt him, he loved every experience. Harbour added that having kids is a love like no other because you love them more than you could ever love yourself.

Harbour and Allen's marriage automatically made the actor a stepfather, and his life changed. He said:

"I've learned a lot about myself. You really have to show up for other human beings in a truly selfless way."

Despite loving Allen's kids, Harbour once said that becoming a stepfather was the hardest thing he ever had to deal with. Even though he currently has a special relationship with them, it took time and effort.
