Sarie Kessler is famously known as Margot Robbie's mother, but there is more to her than just being a supportive stage mom.

Sarie is a proud mom to four beautiful children, Anya, Lachlan, Cameron, and Margot Robbie, whom she raised single-handedly.

Margot, born on July 2, 1990, is the only daughter who pursued a Hollywood career. She is known for starring in "The Wolf of Wall Street," Suicide Squad," "Focus," and "Z for Zachariah."

SARIE KESSLER IS MORE THAN MARGOT ROBBIE'S MOTHER

Unlike her daughter, Sarie chose a career path in the medical field and works as a physiotherapist. During her younger years, Sarie focused on helping the elderly, but as her children grew older, she also started working with children.

Margot described her 68-year-old mom as someone with a "Heart of Gold," not only because of Sarie's line of work but also because of the sacrifices she made as a single mother of four.

Although entering the entertainment industry is challenging, Sarie supported her daughter's pursuits financially and emotionally. She once told her daughter, as Hollywood Life reported:

"I really admired the way you set about deciding how your future was going to unfold. I'm just absolutely so happy for you that you're in a situation where you love what you do, and you have the independence to do what you do [...]."

Although she has a famous daughter, Sarie stays out of the spotlight and lives a private life. She also has a personal Instagram account set on private. Nevertheless, Sarie had a glimpse of fame when she had her stint in acting, appearing in the 2009 film "I.C.U."

Margot has spoken highly of her mom on several occasions and once said she would be happy to become like Sarie. The actress said:

"My mom is just the sweetest person on earth, and if I turned into her, I wouldn't be that upset at all. In fact, it would be an honor."

The "Barbie" star has shown gratitude to her mom several times, including paying off Sarie's entire mortgage as a 60th birthday present. Sarie was undoubtedly happy with Margot's gift but hoped it would not reach the media as it was a personal affair.

In 2016, Margot paid tribute to her mother when she wore Sarie's wedding dress to tie the knot with filmmaker Tom Ackerley in 2016. The off-shoulder gown was reportedly designed by Oscar de la Renta and altered by Casey Tanswell.

Sarie has watched Margot grow up into a beautiful person and luckily had front-row seats to the star's successes. Previously, Margot took her mom as her date to the 90th Annual Academy Awards, where she was nominated for her first Oscar.

SARIE KESSLER'S CHILDREN

Sarie's other children also grew up victorious in their career paths. Her brother, Lachlan, also entered the entertainment business as a stunt performer. He has appeared in "Alien: Covenant," "Skinfood," "Aquaman," and "Birds of Prey," where he worked alongside his sister.

"To work alongside you on 'Birds of Prey' and seeing your professionalism and dedication to your craft onset and at home to deliver something for people to enjoy is always motivating," he said, as told by Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Sarie's other son, Cameron, has made waves on Instagram as an influencer with several followers. Often, he advocates his support for the LGBTQ+ community. He has also shared how proud he is of Margot on social media in the past.

Cameron also has acting credits under his belt for indie projects, including "The Flirting Teenaged Boy," "Gifted," and "People You May Know." Meanwhile, his sister, Anya, remains a private person and has an Instagram account not viewable to the public.

WHO IS SARIE KESSLER'S EX-HUSBAND?

Sarie shares her four children with sugarcane tycoon Doug Robbie, who left their family when Margot was still a child. According to a publication, Anya and Margot have no interest in knowing about their dad.

Doug reportedly lives streets away from Sarie on the Gold Coast. Although Sarie's daughters are not close to their father, it seems Lachlan still has a good relationship with him. Previously, the stunt performer paid tribute to Doug on Father's Day through a social media post.

Unlike her parents, Margot's marriage seems to be going well. However, as portrayed by the media, her love life has not always been good. In the past, Margot was infamously linked to Will Smith after a controversial photo sparked cheating rumors.

The controversial photo placed the actor and actress in a negative light as Smith was married to Jada Pinkett-Smith at that time. However, sources have spoken about the rumor and revealed what really happened behind closed doors.

Neither Margot nor Smith addressed the rumors, but a source claimed that the photo was commissioned during production and was taken before several crew members. The insider claimed that Margot and the "Hitch" star were nothing more than friends and colleagues. Both parties have since moved on with their lives and are happily married.
