Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa have always been close. The sisters were together throughout their school lives, even when Kate took on the life-changing role of becoming a royal and a mother.

Kate Middleton and her siblings, Pippa and James Middleton, grew up in a very close family unit. Their parents, Carole and Michael, loved to have their house complete with their children telling stories; they even enjoyed the noise that came with having three children.

Mike and Carole have instilled the value of family from a young age. The Middleton family always made sure to have dinner together every week. The setting and clearing up of the table was also something they did, as the team said to the royal expert Katie Nicholl in her book "The future Queen."

According to Nicholl, Kate loved school so much that she asked her parents to become a weekly boarder at St. Andrew's Prep. This came as a surprise to her parents because of how much they loved having their family together. However, Kate got as she wished and her sister Pippa eventually joined her.

The sisters did not only spend more time together as borders, but they were part of the same groups. Pippa and Kate played ports, the piano, and the flute. According to Nicholl, Pippa was the most accomplished in academia and sports, but her sister Kate did not feel jealous; instead, she became her biggest supporter.

As soon as Kate married William, her role changed, and she got swapped with royal duties, but that did not change much.

The Middleton sisters continued to stay together when they both went to Marlborough College; however, they separated when Kate chose St. Andrews University in Scotland after her gap year. Pippa decided on the University of Edinburgh.

The University of Scotland is where Kate met her Prince William; the two started getting serious so much that the whole Middleton family knew about William by the first-holiday break.

The following year Pippa and the Middleton brother, James, were regulars at the Queen's home in Balmoral, Scotland. Kate had her siblings join when she and William would visit over the weekend.

Kate's life started changing when her relationship with William became public. But that did not affect the connection between her and her siblings.

In 2007, after William and Kate had broken up, The Duchess of Cambridge discreetly danced behind Willaim at the concert for Princess Diana with her brother and sister to hide that they had gotten back together.

Nonetheless, despite the change in public scrutiny, the Middleton siblings still did everything together. Although as soon as Kate married William, her role changed, and she got swamped with royal duties, that did not change much.

The only distinct difference in Kate and Pippa's relationship was that the Duchess of Cambridge was hardly seen with her family in public. However, that does not mean they do not make up for that lost time behind closed doors.

In an interview with The Today Show, shortly after Kate had welcomed Prince George, Pippas talked about her relationship with her sister since becoming a royal and a new mother.

Pippa said she and Kate still have a very normal sisterly relationship. Despite her sister's royal title, they have also given themselves the space to treat each other fairly.

Pippa beamed with joy when the interviewer mentioned Prince George. She expressed that Prince George has quite the character and has brought immense pleasure to both the Middleton and royal family.

Kate is now a mother of three, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4. The Cambridge family has now decided to move from London to Windsor.

The new home of the royal couple is in the Berkshire area, which is family to Kate because that is where she was raised. Her parents, Michael and Carole, still reside there, along with her brother James.

Kate is following her parent's family values and bringing her children closer to their Middleton grandparents. Despite the changes that separated the Middleton family, they will now be connected again as an even bigger family.

Pippa Middleton is officially a mother of three. The Middleton sister welcomed her daughter a few weeks ago, as reported by People Magazine.

The 38-year-old and her husband, James Matthews, 46, already had two children, a son named Arthur, who they welcomed in 2018.

Pippa and Kate both had all their children at St Mary's hospital. In true sisterly fashion, Pippa also gave birth in the Lindo Wing of the hospital, where her sister Kate had her three kids.

The new addition to Middleton's grandchildren makes Michael and Carole grandparents of six. As both sisters expand their families, they seem to both share the importance of being closer to each other.

Pippa and her family of five are reportedly also moving to the Berkshire area. The couple purchased a home worth 15 million pounds close to Pippa's parents and a 50-minute drive from Kates's new Adelaide Cottage.

The Matthews children will have endless play dates with their royal cousins. As reports say, Pippa and Matthews have always looked forward to settling down and leading a quiet life.
