RYAN KATTNER IS A VERY TALENTED

Ryan Kattner is one individual who many probably would envy simply because it seems like he's good at practically everything.

Starting with the one talent he's widely known for, music, Ryan is part of the rock band called Man Man, which has been around since 2003. Besides being the frontman of Man Man, he's also part of the indie-super-group, Mister Heavenly.

Moving on to his other talents, Ryan is also a theatre composer, actor, and screenwriter. But that's not all; the accomplished artist is also a graphic novelist – incredible.

His stage name is 'Honus Honus,' which he also uses as his nickname on social media. Ryan is very active online, with over 13 000 followers on Instagram. However, he does not usually post about his private life. He only shares things about his personal life when he honors his parents by sharing throwback photos.

RYAN'S LIFE WAS LIKE A TRIP

Ryan Kattner was a globetrotter most of his life as even though he was born in Texas, he grew up in many different places. The artist lived in the Philippines before moving to South Carolina, Illinois, Germany, Missouri, and Alabama. Ryan finally settled in Philadelphia before moving again to Los Angeles.

RYAN IS A VOCALIST IN MAN MAN BAND

The Man Man band comprises five members: Honus Honus, Pow Pow, Sergei Sogay, Chang Wang, and Critter Crat. The band has been described as eccentric and has made it on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart.

According to Ryan, even though the band has been touring for over eight years, it has "existed as a concept" for much longer. Their music incorporates various items, from utensils to squeaky toys and horns.

RYAN HAS A DAUGHTER WITH CONSTANCE WU

Ryan Kattner is a father to a baby girl he shares with actress Constance Wu. They welcomed their beautiful daughter in August 2020.

The musician and the "Crazy Rich Asians" star never announced they were expecting a child. Plus, the pair have remained quiet about their relationship status, so it's hard to say if they are still a couple.

The last time we heard about the two was in 2021 when Constance was talking about their baby on "The Tonight Show, Starring Jimmy Fallon." The first time mom sounded excited talking about her baby girl and expressed how great her daughter is – and that she has a blue butt.

When asked whether her boyfriend ever sings to the baby, the actress said, "Yeah, he actually wrote a song about her blue butt. So that will be on his next album."

The actress was further asked what it's like dating the father of her baby, who is a rock star, and she said their life is like the movie "Almost Famous," but like middle-aged.

HE ONCE WROTE SONGS ON THE WALLS

In 2015, Ryan Kattner revealed that he once wrote songs on the walls telling that the song "Shameless" was one of them.

Ryan detailed how he was living in a room that was on a slant and only had a mattress and piano in it. He often wrote songs on the walls, and after the electricity in the room was fixed, the musician said he realized "how insane it looked" having all those lyrics on the wall for the first time.

Speaking about the experience, Ryan said, "So I was like, oh, maybe this isn't a healthy way to live. So 'Shameless' came out of that; I'm very happy with that song."
