Is Emilia Clarke Married? Dating History of 'Game of Thrones' Star Who Doesn't Have a Husband Yet
Does Emilia Clarke have a husband? Many of Emilia Clarke's fans want to know whether the actress is married. The English actress is famously private when discussing her romantic life. Here's a look at her dating history.
One of Hollywood's most beautiful actresses, Emilia Clarke, has yet to tie the knot. Despite reports in 2021 that she signed up for the celebrity-approved dating service Raya, her fans are questioning why she hasn't settled yet.
While her hunt for a possible companion on Raya reveals that she is single and unmarried, Clarke has apparently dated several attractive men in the past, most of whom she met while working on sets.

SETH MACFARLANE
Clarke dated comedian and actor Seth MacFarlane for a year. They began dating in 2012 after being first spotted getting cozy together at the HBO Emmy after-party at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California.
MacFarlane and Clarke's romance ended in 2013, a heartbreaking turn of events. According to a source, the once-wonderful couple apparently had difficulty keeping their long-distance relationship together.
According to the source, Clarke was busy filming the "Game of Thrones" series in Europe, while MacFarlane was occupied with his profession in California. Despite their split, the former couple remained friends.

In 2016, Clarke spoke publicly for the first time, three years after the split. She also opened up about her brief relationship with MacFarlane, who stars as Peter Griffin on the popular television program "Family Guy."
Clarke mentioned that dating someone in public was challenging for her because strangers would offer her dating advice that she had not specifically requested in the first place.
Some people would question her choice to go on a date with a guy who seems to be the complete antithesis of the actress. They would ask why she would do anything like that. Clarke recounted her previous experience, saying:
"That happened in New York when Seth and I were together. This guy started to give me advice: 'Can I get a selfie? And by the way…' Unh-unh, bro.'"
Despite her heartbreak, the "Me Before You" actress expressed gratitude to her friends and family as her support system and said that she does not need a man to fill any emptiness.

JAMES FRANCO
Rumors also circulated that James Franco, another actor, was dating Clarke. Fans have long speculated that she and the "Spider-Man" actor were an item, but how they met remains a mystery.
Considering that the 35-year-old English actress and Franco were seldom seen together at public events and neither had an engagement ring, some speculated that the couple hid their relationship.

Despite the speculation swirling around the two equally attractive stars, Clarke eventually addressed the unverified reports with a chuckle, claiming that she only met Franco twice briefly. She explained:
"He is, of course, beautiful. But I feel there's only a handful of women who could form an engagement after two meetings, and I'm not one of them."
CORY MICHAEL SMITH
Cory Michael Smith is an actor most recognized for his performance in the 2013 Broadway version of the classic film "Breakfast at Tiffany's," in which he co-starred with Clarke.
In 2014, Smith and Clarke began dating each other. The gorgeous pair attended the Vanity Fair Oscars Party as each other's companions. Unfortunately, they ended their relationship after just a few months of dating.

JAI COURTNEY
After meeting on the set of the 2015 action movie "Terminator Genisys," which stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clarke reportedly began dating Australian actor Jai Courtney. Unfortunately, they were not able to maintain a lasting connection.
Despite being linked to the "Last Christmas" actress, Courtney confirmed in a radio interview that he is a single man. "No, I don't... Your research is like three months old," the actor said when asked if he had a girlfriend.
Interestingly, just twelve weeks before the actor's admission that he was single, Emilia had revealed the pressures of her worldwide acting career made it "impossible" for her to find a romantic partner.

CHARLIE MCDOWELL
Clarke went on with her life three years later, with another chance at love. She reportedly dated film director Charlie McDowell in October 2018 following a mysterious Instagram post.
Fans did not doubt that it was McDowell. Clarke revealed her love relationship with McDowell after tagging him in an Instagram photo of herself with the film director's name in her post.
Unfortunately, the two were only together for a brief duration. McDowell and Clarke ended their relationship quietly in March 2019, with McDowell unfollowing her on Instagram.
Surprisingly, McDowell recently tied the knot with actress Lily Collins, whose father is renowned film director Phil Collins. McDowell and the "Emily in Paris" actress tied the knot at Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado.
TOM TURNER
Clarke made headlines again in 2020, during the pandemic lockdown when she was photographed walking her dog in a park in London with assistant director Tom Turner.
Both the rumored couple like dogs. Turner is most known for his work in various Hollywood films, including "Cruella," "Fury," "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," and "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation."
According to The Metro, Turner– who previously was in a relationship with actress Rebecca Ferguson– is "pretty smitten" by Clarke. They were rumored to be dating, although he and Clarke never publicly acknowledged it.
MATT SMITH
Clarke made news in the same year she allegedly dated Turner. She was rumored to be dating actor Matt Smith, who gained prominence for playing Prince Philip in Netflix's "The Crown" series.
It was reported that Clarke and Smith were seen having dinner together in Soho, London. She wore white jeans with wide legs and a black blazer, while Smith sported a gray bomber jacket, a white top, and dark denim.
Although fans were rooting for Smith and Clarke to be together as a couple, they seem to be simply pals. They have been friends since 2016.

JASON MOMOA EMILIA CLARKE A COUPLE?
Clarke has been linked to several high-profile celebrities, but her special relationship with the "Game of Thrones" co-star Jason Momoa stands out among the rest.
Clarke portrayed Daenerys Targaryen in the highly acclaimed HBO series, while Momoa played Khal Drogo. Their on-screen relationship won over admirers. But were they a couple?
Even after the popular drama series ended in 2019, the duo has maintained sweet affections and a close friendship for each other. Momoa posted an Instagram picture of Clarke sitting on his lap in August 2021.
The "Aquaman" actor described his former co-star as the "moon of my existence." On another photo, he lifted Clarke with his arms, making the actress seem tiny. She seemed to be laughing at the time the photo was taken.
Momoa revealed that he and Clarke were never an item when it comes to love. He was married to actress Lisa Bonet for a long time, with whom he had two children - daughter Lola Iolani, 14, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 13.
Momoa and Bonet announced their split in a joint statement, leaving fans heartbroken. Although the couple reportedly married in 2007, they did not publicly acknowledge it until 2017. The couple's statement read:
"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage."
Fans thought they were both perfect for each other, but Momoa stated that they are no exceptions to these "changes." They officially separated in January 2022.
Although the pair chose to handle their divorce privately, it's worth mentioning that Bonet's divorce from Momoa was her second. She was married to rock legend Lenny Kravitz, with whom she shares daughter, actress Zoë Kravitz.
Meanwhile, Clarke's never-ending search for a perfect partner continues. While Clarke believes that getting to know prospective partners traditionally is essential, she reportedly used Raya, a celebrity-recommended online dating app.
Clarke has been on a path of self-love and self-care amid the pressures she has experienced in the entertainment industry. She seemed to like her life now that she is in her late 30s.
