Harry & Meghan Surfed Internet to Find Snide Comments Every Day during Their Australia Tour, Book Claims

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been together for quite some years now. However, it was only recently that Harry made a profound statement about Meghan in his UN General Assembly speech.

In 2016, Harry and Meghan met after being set up on a date by their mutual friend in London. At the time, Meghan was recently divorced, and Harry was considered the world's most eligible bachelor.

Harry knew that Meghan was the one from the first moment he met her, and the couple quickly became much-beloved by fans worldwide. However, when they married, things went slightly pear-shaped.

It was only after the couple had been married for a couple of months that the public started to see a couple of cracks that there were in the relationship. It was also then that the public noticed a different side to Meghan.

However, the prince recently spoke very lovingly about his wife and his mother in one sentence, which has again endeared the couple to those who support their relationship.

On July 18, he was the keynote speaker at the UN General Assembly for Nelson Mandela International Day, and in the speech, he said that Meghan was someone significant to him. He did so when talking about Africa.

While talking about the continent, Harry referred to his humanitarian efforts, his mother, and then his wife. He spoke about all three of these fondly, saying:

"It’s where I’ve felt closest to my mother and sought solace after she died, and where I knew I had found a soulmate in my wife.

Although the couple met and began dating in the summer of 2016 and were said to have fallen in love very quickly, Meghan did not get the opportunity to meet the Queen until the following year at Buckingham Palace.

While Meghan needed to be trained on how to behave when she met the Queen, it was something that the star keenly anticipated. Fortunately for the couple, the meeting went well for everyone.

Meghan's meeting with her then-boyfriend's grandmother lasted one hour, but during the meeting, she saw just how much love and respect Harry for his grandmother. She then shared her impression of the Queen, saying:

“She’s an incredible woman.”

Not long after Harry and Meghan met with the Queen, the couple announced their engagement. The Queen was charmed by their engagement as she believed that Harry could make the right decision.

After her meeting with Meghan and the announcement of the couple's engagement, it was revealed that the queen "trusts her grandsons." This is because Harry and William have shown that they are in touch with the public.

In the days leading up to the couple's wedding, the monarchy seemed excited about having Meghan join the royal family. Yet, those sentiments have since changed drastically, and Meghan and Harry have moved away entirely.

A ROYAL WEDDING

The couple wasted no time in tying the knot after they got engaged, and in 2018, they walked down the aisle in a royal wedding. However, it did not follow all royal protocols, which "shattered royal tradition."

However, they still had fans' hearts as they embarked on their royal tour of Australia. The couple enchanted fans with the love and kindness they displayed to locals, and Meghan even brought a cake she had baked to one family they visited.

The couple had captured the hearts of their fans and quickly started to gain popularity as the couple who would modernize the monarchy with the birth of the first mixed-race royal baby. However, everything was not what it seemed.

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

While the couple looked happy to be on tour, according to a new book, the truth behind their glowing photos was not as rosy as it seemed. In fact, the couple was apparently miserable throughout the trip.

The smiling faces the couple was showing to the public were a far cry from the scenes they were experiencing in private. These scenes have recently been brought to light and do not paint a flattering picture of Meghan.

Apparently, Meghan had been unbearable throughout the entirety of the trip. She had made ridiculous requests, like wanting to be booked into a hotel under an alias to avoid paparazzi, even though there were none.

Another issue that cropped up was that the hotel she was staying at had only Tempurpedic slippers and a robe, while Meghan wanted Dior items. She ignored all of the other things that had been done for her in the room.

While this was happening, the world was starting to understand that Meghan was the type of person to bulldoze her way through situations, and Harry once mentioned that she got everything she wanted.

The couple knew that the public was turning against them as they ran into increasingly unpleasant comments about themselves on social media daily. While they tried to counteract this, they were not successful.

They eventually became somewhat obsessed with seeking out these remarks to have them removed from the relevant social media channels. It is said that Harry would trawl the internet every night to find these comments.

Harry and Meghan would both spend each morning looking for the comments about them and their relationship that they wanted to be removed and then inform relevant staff members who would have to cater to the couple's wishes.

While the couple did this in an effort to save their reputations, the situation quickly got out of hand. Now, the couple often has the internet divided between those that believe their relationship is wrong and those that love them.

Since the couple has moved to Montecito in the United States and are no longer working members of the royal family, the comments have not become any kinder, and they still face much criticism.
