HOW DID MATTHEW MEET ANGELA?

Lewis and Jones met unexpectedly. While the "Harry Potter" films helped Lewis launch his acting career, it was through one of the films in the franchise that he met the woman who would become his wife.

The couple first crossed paths in January 2016 at Universal Studios in Orlando, where Jones worked as an event planner for the Wizarding World event. She was in charge of the VIP guests for the event, and Lewis was one of the guests invited.

Jones's dream career was to plan events, and she thought she could do it for a long time. But she quit her job to be with Lewis. In November 2016, Lewis proposed to Jones in Paris, France, after dating for eleven months.

Jones thought getting married to Lewis was the best way to end their long-distance relationship. She and the "Me Before You" actor used social media apps such as FaceTime to communicate while still dating.
