Bob Barker Is Still Very Much Alive - What Is He up to Now?
Bob Barker is still alive and reasonably healthy after the pandemic. Although he is no longer active on television, he has dedicated his time to the greater good.
Born Robert William Barker on December 12, 1923, in Darrington, Washington, "The Price Is Right" host is still very much alive.
Now already in his late 90s, the show he has been part of since 1972 continues to wish him a happy birthday yearly.
Barker is most recognized for hosting the longest-running game show in television history. However, he has also appeared in other films and shows, including "Happy Gilmore," "Something So Right," and "The New Truth and Consequences."
Bob Barker's Foundation Helps Donkey Sanctuary
Although he hasn't appeared on television recently, Barker has kept himself busy in other ways. He had a significant role in opening a Donkey Wildlife Sanctuary catering to areas in and around Reche Canyon.
Barker funded the sanctuary with millions of dollars for it to come to life. Donkeyland's Vice President, Chad Cheatham, said:
"They've been in this canyon for over seventy years, roaming between different cities, five hundred acres that's fenced, and that's thanks to Bob Barker and Nancy Burnet and the foundation for the generous contributions for the sanctuary and the fencing."

The sanctuary targets donkeys around the area, which have been multiplying for years. Their lives are always in danger, especially with animal abusers who don't mind shooting them down or running them over.
Barker seems to be in good health despite his age. Unfortunately, an accident where he fell at home left Bob Barker twice in the hospital in 2018. Nevertheless, Barker recovered very well.
The sanctuary also tries to vaccinate all donkeys to prevent equine influenza. More than anything, it will give the animals the peaceful life they should be granted.
Bob Barker Lives Quiet Life after the Retirement
Since leaving "The Price Is Right" in 2007, at 84, Barker appeared as a guest on the show several times. In 2013, he came to celebrate his 90th birthday, and in 2015, he appeared for April Fools.
Barker dyed his hair during the show's first 15 years to conceal his age. However, his gray hair caught more attention. "I went on vacation, and I just let it go," he said. "When I came home, the people on the show said, 'You look better this way than you do with it dyed or tinted. Why don't you leave it this way?'"
As he lives a quiet life, Barker is not often seen out. He was sometimes spotted next to his home, including a 2018 preview to take out the trash.
He is happy living with his long-time partner, Nancy Burnet, who revealed that the entertainer is doing well. "He's happy. He's engaged. He's just doing remarkably well for almost 99 years of age," she said. However, Barker is sometimes forgetful, but that comes with age. She added:
"His weight is good, he's strong, and he has this meal replacement in addition to his regular meals because [it's] just the way he gets everything."
