Charlotte Grace Prinz is Sarah Michelle Gellar's daughter, who lives a private life. However, Charlotte once made a rare red carpet appearance alongside her mother for the "Do Revenge" premiere.

Parenthood is undoubtedly something that Sarah Michelle Gellar is grateful for, mainly because of her daughter, Charlotte Grace.

The doting mom celebrated Charlotte's 13th birthday in September 2022, sharing bits and pieces of her daughter's "cocktails and caviar spa party."

Charlotte chose the birthday theme, but since she is still too young, the celebrant and her friends only had mocktails. The cocktails were reserved for the moms.

Who Is Charlotte Grace Prinze?

Charlotte is one of Gellar's two children with Freddie Prinze Jr., who they welcomed on September 19, 2009. The couple's representative announced the news of her arrival then and said the parents were "over the moon" to have their first child.

Growing up, Charlotte stayed relatively away from the spotlight. She also rarely appeared on her mother's Instagram profile, with only occasional birthday tributes. Although her parents are both in the entertainment industry, Charlotte is set to carve out her own career path.

The "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star believes that the pressure to follow in show business differs for kids whose parents are actors. However, she will not push her children to follow in her footsteps.

"They can decide what they want to do for themselves," she said. "I'll never push them, but, in the meantime, they have to stick to schooling. My kids have too much stage fright anyway."

Nevertheless, Gellar has exposed her kids to life behind the scenes. Amidst the pandemic, she brought Charlotte to the "Do Revenge" set every day until it sparked interest in the young girl to join the industry.

Charlotte was particularly fond of Maya Hawke, who had great lessons to impart to Charlotte. "Her mother [Uma Therman] also said the same thing," Gellar said and added:

"'You can be on set, you can learn about them, you can have jobs on them, and you can help out, but you can't be in front of the camera until you graduate high school and you sort of know who you are."

With her everyday presence on set, it only felt right to have Charlotte in the "Do Revenge" premiere with her mom. Her appearance was a rare sighting and one of Charlotte's first red carpet events.

Is Charlotte Grace Prinze on Social Media?

Unfortunately, public appearances and photos on her parents' social media are the only times fans can have a glimpse of the teenager. Charlotte does not have her own accounts, as Gellar does not allow it.

The actress knows the big responsibility handling a social media account entails, such that her daughter will have to wait until she is older to have one. However, Geller already talked to her daughter and fully explained why she cannot have an Instagram account yet.

The day will eventually come when Charlotte will be allowed to have Instagram visibility, but when that day comes, Geller wants her daughter to be accountable for all her posts.

Meanwhile, Charlotte's younger brother, Rocky, couldn't care less about having his own Instagram. Rocky was born three years after his sister, on September 20, 2012.

Like his sister, Rocky's parents don't share much information about him. However, he also has rare photos on Gellar's Instagram account during birthday tributes and family vacations.
