London King Is a Doula Who Supported Her Daughter in Childbirth – More about Elle King's Mother
London King, Elle King's mother, and her daughter are 'best friends' after her mother helped her during the birth of her first child. After suffering two miscarriages, Elle spoke about her high-risk pregnancy to help others.
London worked as a model and actress and partnered with different brands during her modeling days. But she is most commonly known for her acting career. She had various supporting roles over the years, such as when she played Cheryl in "A Better Way to Die."
London later chose to pursue a profession as a doula and was able to help her daughter during her first birth. Elle was born in 1989, and despite having parents in television and film, Elle cemented herself in Hollywood as a musician.
The famous rock star's hit songs such as "Exes and Ohs" earned her a Grammy-nominated career. And after publicly speaking about her difficult fertility journey, Elle called her mother her best friend after London was a great help to her during the birth of Elle's first child.

While announcing the birth of Noah and his partner's third child, London wrote that she was "proud of their sweet family." London's fourth grandchild came from Elle, who gave birth to a boy, Lucky Levi Tooker, on September 1, 221.
Elle and her partner announced the news on Instagram a few days after Lucky was born and captioned the post that they were "healthy" and feeling "so blessed." Elle said London was the "best doula ever," and in the appreciation post dedicated to her mother, Elle wrote:
"She was my doula through the whole process, and most importantly, she was the best mom I could ask for."
In the Instagram appreciation post, London was photographed cooking Elle's placenta in the kitchen. Elle suffered from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and had a difficult journey to motherhood. But she chose to share about her high-risk pregnancy in hopes of helping others.
Relationship with Rob Schneider
London and Rob parted ways a little while after Elle was born. Elle described her father as a "workaholic" and said he was not around much during her childhood. Rob was a famous face and a part of the "Saturday Night Live" cast throughout the 1990s.
He was a writer for the show from 1988 and became a regular cast member until 1994. He also landed roles in movies such as "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" in 1992, and he starred alongside Adam Sandler and Chris Rock in "Grown Ups."
Rob went on to have more children after his relationship with London, and it was essential for Elle to have a close bond with her step-sisters. As she grew older, Elle said she realized what was important in life and said:
"Family really is so important. So through that, me just kind of showing up and trying to be good for them really made it easy because there were no bad motives … I love him."

After her divorce from Rob, London married Justin Tesa in 2000. According to his Instagram, Justin owns a record label in New York City and runs it from his print shop. His record company is Good Times Rock n Roll Club, and his print company is Crown Prints NYC.
On September 26, 2021, London and Justin celebrated over two decades of being together, and as they stood in front of a cornfield, London joked that it was "corny" how in love they were.
Justin was Elle's father figure growing up, and he was the inspiration behind her music career. Elle was born Tanner Elle Schneider but chose to drop her biological father's last name to climb the ranks based on merit and not because she had a famous father.
So she took London's last name and said she became an artist thanks to Justin. Elle said she already had "something" that was "inside" of her but that Justin was the one who "nurtured it" and "pushed" her.
In November 2021, London and Justin dressed up to show their support for Elle King at the Grammys after she had received her fourth nomination. London said in the caption that the close-knit family had "the rowdiest" night celebrating.
