Lila was born in 2002 in London to British model Kate Moss and Dazed Media Co-founder and Creative Director Jefferson Hack. The 20-year-old, who doesn't shy away from telling people no, has Type 1 diabetes and frequently checks her blood sugar levels on her phone app.

Lila recalls that back in secondary school, whenever other students spoke ill of her mother, she would instantly become defensive.

Unlike most girls her age, Lila doesn't seem interested in her phone; when she's not working, she spends most of her time watching a film or reading a book. She has an Instagram page with a massive following of 464K, where she likes keeping her fans up to date with her personal and professional life.

Lila's Mother Wasn't Happy about Her Becoming a Model

Lila is a young, fast-rising model signed under her mother's company Kate Moss Agency. Before she began modeling, Lila says that her mom was skeptical about her becoming a model:

"My mum always put me off modeling; she was always like, If you wanna do it, you can, but I wouldn't recommend it."

Lila added that it took her a while to feel comfortable in front of cameras. She recalls that when she was 13, her mother asked her to model with her, but she couldn't do it because she had braces and was too shy.

After a few practice sessions, she finally felt comfortable shooting her first campaign for Marc Jacobs Beauty at 15. Besides modeling, Lisa takes her education seriously; the young lady cleared school with A levels in media studies, fashion textiles, and photography.
