Kelli Giddish's Husband Is Her 'Light' – Meet Her Second Spouse Beau Richards
Kelli Giddish announced her marriage to Beau Richards a few months after their 2021 New Orleans wedding. Her mysterious light-eyed second husband came into her life shortly after her quiet divorce from the father of her two children.
Over the past two years, Kelli Giddish has made dramatic changes in her life. First, she gave her two children a new stepdad who adores them and then publicized that she was leaving "Law & Order: SVU."
The actress joined the cast of the beloved NBC procedural in its thirteenth season as Amanda Rollins in 2011, and no future projects are listed in her IMDb profile at the time of writing. Her rescue dog, Frannie Mae, also appeared in the series.
The Personality of Beau Richards Is Shrouded in Mystery
Giddish married her second husband, Beau Richards, on November 7, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She wore an ornate beaded lace gown, and the groom donned what looked like a vintage-inspired tweed suit.
All that is known about Richards is that he goes by @botorious on social media and has an affinity for sharks. His private Instagram account bio is an emoji of the ocean-dwelling creature; his wife posted a photo of him with a shark toy and called him "jawsome."
The TV cop revealed in a 2021 interview that she consciously married someone outside the entertainment industry. When asked about her then-fiancé, the Southern woman filled the silence with a coy laugh.

Beau Richards Is 'the Most Supreme Stepfather' to Kelli Giddish's Children
In her February 19, 2022 wedding announcement on social media, Giddish said she was "happy beyond words to have met and married my love, my man, my sweet beau," and praised her new hubby:
"You are my light and the most supreme step-father Ludo and Charlie could ask for."
In the photo, the newlyweds are kissing under tussled parasols in a touristy spot in New Orleans, with a bow-tied Ludo smiling in front of them. In the background, an oblivious tourist is taking a selfie.
On the same day, Giddish shared a snap of Richards throwing her son in the air in a pool with the hashtag "I got you."
"SVU" showrunner Warren Leight tweeted in July 2015 that "SVU" "was the most fertile show on Earth."
On Father's Day 2022, she wished her new husband and all the other "daddies and granddaddies" a good day and wrote, "We are lucky to have them." Ludo makes his mom's point by tightly embracing his stepdad in a baseball stadium.

Kelli Giddish Got Married to Her First Hubby, Lawrence Faulborn, on the Beach
Giddish and Lawrence Faulborn tied the knot on June 20, 2015, in an intimate beach ceremony on New Smyrna Beach, Florida, with only 12 of their nearest and dearest in attendance. The wedding planners called them a "joy to work with."
The bridal pair exuded beach cool; she was in a short-sleeved V-neck dress topped with a flower crown, while the groom wore a white linen shirt, slacks, and the ultimate coastal footwear, flip-flops.
"SVU" showrunner Warren Leight tweeted in July 2015 that "SVU" "was the most fertile show on Earth" as the TV partners, Giddish and Ice T, were having babies with their respective significant others around the same time.
The "All My Children" actress gave birth to their son Ludo in 2015. Giddish and Faulborn welcomed their second child, Charlie, on November 14, 2018, and separated before the year ended. The TV star says she has a good support structure in her Florida-based parents:
"They're the best grandparents anybody could ask for. I really love spending time with them and my boys. Whenever we can all get some time off, we'll spend a month together in the summer at the beach house. So they're very important."
Giddish's two young children have experienced their mother's fame in a limited way as someone who is rather popular in the grocery store, where the actress is often asked for a selfie by "SVU" fans.
The famous mother explained to her son that for those fans, it is like running into the Red Ranger, a character from one of his favorite shows. Ludo has also spent time with his mother and her TV family, headed by Mariska Hargitay, on set.
