They are each known for their musical talents and success in the industry, but Big Sean and Jhené Aiko now go by the titles Mom and Dad. The pair have welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world.

It is Big Sean's first child and Aiko's first child with the rapper. She also has a daughter. Both Aiko and Big Sean took to social media to announce the birth of their son and the details surrounding the special occasion.

They had a similar caption on the posts they shared. Big Sean shared the news on Facebook, while Aiko favored Instagram. Aiko said:

"After 24 hours of labor, a total lunar eclipse, and while it was pouring rain… he came. My baby Yoda. My Sani."

Big Sean shared a similar post but ended it by saying his son could have any and everything from his father. The couple revealed that their son's name is Noah Hasani. The photos they shared were similar, too.

Aiko started her photo series with a photo of herself in a hospital gown and face mask and continued with photos of herself throughout her labor. She ended off with a photo of her and her son. Big Sean started with a picture of his son's fingers and ended with one of him kissing little Noah.

How Did Big Sean and Aiko Meet?

While the couple has only recently started dating and welcomed their baby, they have known each other for a long time. Their story started years ago when they went on their first date while Aiko had a boyfriend.

Big Sean and Aiko met in 2012 at producer No I.D's studio. They formed a professional relationship, which Aiko described as "comfortable," and collaborated on songs "Beware" and "I'm Gonna Be."

Aiko joked that there was a competition between the two in their professional relationship because she wanted her verses to sound better than Big Sean's, and he wanted his to sound better than hers.

Big Sean then asked Aiko to attend a Lakers game with him. She agreed because they were friends and did not think it was a date. Yet her mind changed later. She said:

"It was pretty obvious after a while that it was a date. We had never really been alone together. It was really fun."

Talking about how he felt that Aiko had a boyfriend when they went on their first date, Big Sean said he didn't care. Aiko said she told her boyfriend she was going to the game with Big Sean because he was her friend.

She admitted that she had never been to a game courtside and looked forward to seeing what it would be like. She and Big Sean didn't become an item until years later when Aiko ended her relationship with her boyfriend after finding out he was legally married.

What Kind of Mother is Aiko?

Aiko is not only the mother to Noah Hasani but also a 14-year-old daughter named Namiko Love. She welcomed Namiko with her ex-boyfriend, O'Ryan. She has often spoken about her daughter and how she feels about motherhood.

RnB singer Omarion is O'Ryan's older brother, but Aiko rarely talks about their relationship. She only talks about how her daughter changed her life. The young lady, nicknamed Nami, made her mother feel lucky.

Aiko also said she felt lucky that she had a family that loved and supported her even though she had a child so young. She shared that her family cared for her daughter while she worked or was on tour.

The musician said she did not want to become pregnant at a young age. Still, as soon as she did, she was inspired to provide a life for her child beyond their imagination, which led to her becoming a successful singer and songwriter.

While she was focused on becoming so successful that she could take care of herself and her daughter without help, she put her duty as a mother first. She mused:

"I would describe myself as a mother, lover, writer, and singer, but always a mother first."

She said falling pregnant made her focus on where she was and who she wanted to be. She recorded her demo while pregnant with Namiko and signed a deal with Def Jam Records soon after.
