Arnold became a grandfather for the first time when he was 73 and has become a grandfather again since then. The family recently shared their Thanksgiving Day celebrations on social media, which included the baptism of the actor's latest grandchild.
Arnold's daughter, Katherine, took to Instagram to share how the family spent Thanksgiving. The photos showed the family eating together, posing for photos, and attending the baptism of Arnold's second grandchild.
Katherine, who is now married to Chris Pratt, welcomed a second baby with her husband this year, and she was baptized over Thanksgiving weekend. Maria, Arnold, and their children all celebrated the momentous occasion.
In the photos Katherine shared, the family is seen at many different points during the weekend. One of the most heartwarming moments captured on camera was Arnold kissing Katherine's second daughter after she was baptized.

On May 23, 2022, Katherine took to Instagram to announce that she and Chris Pratt had welcomed their second daughter together. There was no photo of the child because they do not show their children's faces on social media.
The post simply contained a photo that stated the baby's name against a neutral background with pink writing. Katherine then captioned the post saying she and Chris were excited to announce the birth of their second daughter.
Becoming a grandfather has been something extraordinary for Arnold, and he expressed as much a few times. He joked that he loved being a grandfather because it was much easier than being a parent.
Arnold has expressed how much he loves spending time with his family numerous times. Talking about what he did with his grandchildren when they came to his home to visit him, Arnold said:
"They come over to the house; you play with Lyla for around an hour or two. I put her on the horse, I put her with the dog, I play with the dog, and after two hours, they leave. Over. It's fantastic!"
He also said he loves his daughter and son-in-law and he is proud of them. He shared: "When they come over, the whole house lights up." He added that they spend quality time together when they're there with his grandchildren.
