There Was a Clear Sign That Mia 'Was the One' for Joel
In 2018, they broke up but couldn't stay apart, and in 2019 they were back together again. On February 14, 2020, Courtney proposed to Scholink, and she said, "Yes!" For the two, the way their relationship developed was "a clear sign" that they were meant for each other. Courtney was unequivocal:
"I knew she was the one."
The couple wasn't interested in a long engagement; after all, they had known each other all their lives. So on September 27, 2020, they tied the knot in Phoenix, Arizona, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Despite the COVID pandemic, the couple had a dream wedding with all precautions in place. Courtney admitted that watching Scholink walking down the aisle in her wedding dress was one of the most emotional moments of his life. He confessed:
"My chin was trembling and I had tears in my eyes. It was everything I could do to keep them from pouring down my face. I have never experienced such joy."

Joel and Mia Recently Moved to Tennessee and Started a New Life in Their Own House
The couple recently moved from Arizona to Tennessee, where they purchased a lovely 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 4000-square feet house with a backyard. They decided to move to Tennessee when property prices in Arizona spiked.
Scholink and Courtney felt that Phoenix was becoming too big and hectic for them. They wanted a quieter life, and they found it in Tennessee. Courtney is a hands-on DIY handyman and is busy painting the house, while Scholink has many decorating projects.
The only difficulty, Scholink confessed, is that she is not used to the cold in Tennessee and admits that it was more convenient in Arizona, where they could walk to the mall or the movie theater. In contrast, in Tennessee, they have to drive to Nashville.
Scholink's sister lives nearby, and her parents are also considering moving to Tennessee. Meanwhile, Courtney and Scholink grew their family by adopting a rescue pup. Their fur baby is called Rip and is ten months old.
He weighs a hefty 95 pounds and isn't fully grown yet. The couple thought Rip was a Beagle, but as it turns out, he is a St.Bernards mix, so the family is growing in a big way. The two seem to be delighted with their lives and each other and often dedicate loving messages to the other on Instagram.
