Jane Seymour Talks about 'Healthy' Aging – At 71 She Enjoys Life

In February 2022, Jane Seymour was 71 and revealed she had no intention of slowing down her career anytime soon. The actress was having her busiest time ever and said she grabbed life by the horns daily.
The star explained how she didn't focus on the day's negativities and never lived in the past. At the time, she was working on another project, and she revealed how the makeup department had to paint wrinkles on her face to make her look older!

Jane said the incident "was very satisfying" but explained that she was in tune with her age. The star shared how she wasn't pretending she wasn't in her 70s and added:
"I just like to look the healthiest version that I can.”

However, she believed one's mindset played the most significant role in how one aged and one's attitude toward life. The actress said if you saw positives, had a purpose, and did not think about yourself all the time and what you could do to assist others less fortunate, then you'd stay youthful.
Jane also noted how concerned you were about making a difference in the world, how you could enjoy the planet and the gifts of life, and spending lots of time with her grandchildren maintained her youth.

She also told people that the best facelift one could get was free - a smile - and demonstrated how the face lifts! The star also believed in looking stylish regardless of age because you had to feel comfortable in your skin.
Jane advocated looking to see what fit best in style and cuts. She also made the most of the features that she felt fine with and tried hiding the ones that had already had their moment.

The actress lived a fulfilling life with a particular trio playing a significant role in her happiness. Spending quality time and bonding with her children's offspring was something she credited for her youthful look.
Jane Is Happy: Her Grandchildren Keep Her Young
In 2020, Jane attended the 10th Anniversary of her Open Hearts Foundation, where she made a rare appearance with one of her stepchildren and four biological children. She explained how she and her children were close, including both stepchildren.

However, the actress never called Kalen Keach and Jenni Flynn her stepchildren so as not to set them apart from her biological ones. Jane also said she was proud of all her children and spent a lot of time with them.
By August 2021, the actress had three grandchildren, Willa, Rowan, and Luna. The star loved spending time with the trio and often shared Instagram posts where she was seen bonding with them.
The "High Strung" actress, known as "Oma" to her grandchildren, said they were "wonderful." Willa was following in her grandmother's career footsteps and had already won two acting awards for a short movie Katherine wrote and directed called "Towns."
Jane said she loved having her grandchildren over to visit her Malibu home. The "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman" star also revealed how the grandchildren played a part in her youthful looks, stating:
"I think playing with the grandchildren keeps me young."

She enjoyed herself with them because they had endless energy. The star had sworn never to be a grandmother that also gushed over her grandchildren but got drawn in after the first one arrived!
The Hollywood celebrity [Jane Seymour] explained that she enjoyed things being that way.
Jane confessed how it felt more magical than when she had her children. The trio made her realize she needed to stay healthy because "I can't wait to show them the world!" but besides them, there was one other person who was special to the actress.

The "Harry Wild" actress had been with Green, a British director, and film producer, for eight years in 2022. However, after having four divorces, she didn't feel the need to marry and was happy.
Jane said getting older came with lots of baggage, including health issues, children, careers, and grandchildren, and she was looking for a different relationship. Green was supportive and allowed her to do her own thing while he did the same.
The entirely independent actress revealed how proficient she was in running her business and life. The Hollywood celebrity explained that she enjoyed things being that way.
