The Osbourne family was the source of many families' entertainment during the early 2000s as fans came to love their eclectic family dynamic. Since then, they have become quieter but are still enjoying life as a family.
Recently, the family celebrated a remarkable milestone as Kelly Osbourne welcomed her first child, a son. Sharon is understandably overjoyed at the fact that her daughter has welcomed a baby.
Although Sharon already has five grandchildren, this was her first grandson. Kelly gave birth a few weeks ago at 38. She confirmed the birth of her son in an interview a couple of weeks after his birth.
Kelly said she felt happy and healthy after welcoming her son because she had adjusted her eating habits while she was pregnant. She was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during her first months of pregnancy.
How Did Sharon Osbourne's Grandbaby Meet Santa?
Sharon's son, Jack Osbourne, has welcomed four daughters with his wife. His most recent daughter was born in July this year. He took to Instagram to announce that she and her mom were healthy.
Jack said his daughter's name was Maple, and she was born on July 7. Sharon talked about how she felt about becoming a grandmother so many times. She said:
"It's all overwhelming. But in a good way — in a really positive, lovely way."
Now, Maple, Jack's youngest daughter, and Kelly's son will celebrate their first Christmas together. Sharon was excited about her grandchildren's first Christmas and posted about it on social media.
Although Kelly has not yet released any photos of her son, Sharon was able to share a photo of Maple sitting on Santa's lap. The photo showed a smiling Maple happily perched atop St. Nick's leg.
Sharon mentioned it was Maple's first Christmas, and fans were charmed by the fact that the young girl was smiling happily. Some fans noted that other children would have been crying or afraid of Santa. Another commented:
"Preciousness! And not one bit afraid of Santa … bless her heart!"
Jack shared the same photo as his mother on his own Instagram page and also received adoring comments from many fans. Some said his daughter was cute, while others wished her a Merry Christmas.
While Sharon is close to her children and grandchildren and posts about them often, her husband, Ozzy, is not as vocal publicly any longer. He now spends most of his time out of the spotlight.
Yet Sharon said that when Jack began welcoming his children, Ozzy talked to him about the change his children would bring into his life and what it meant to be a father. He said:
"[Ozzy told Jack,] this is a love that is so special. He said, 'You will never experience a love like this, other than a father and a daughter. It's a very, very special love.'
How Does Sharon Feel Now After Hospitalization?
On December 17, when Sharon was filming a TV show, emergency services were called to the location where she was filming. It was then confirmed that one person had been transported to the hospital following the incident.
After it was revealed that Sharon was in the hospital, fans wanted to know what had happened and if it was an emergency. Other fans simply wanted to know whether or not she would be okay.
No information was forthcoming at the time, but Jack later confirmed that his mother had returned home and was focusing on her recovery. Just two days ago, Sharon resurfaced on social media.
She shared a photo of her husky in front of a Christmas tree and said she was home and doing much better. The family is now excited to spend the festive season together as their family has grown by two people. What a blessing!
