Osmond wished his followers a Merry Christmas from his family to theirs and said he hoped the light of Christmas would shine upon everyone. The Osmond family began their Christmas celebrations early last week.

The family boarded the North Pole Express and sang Christmas carols as they danced in the carriages. Talking about the experience, Osmond said:

"What a perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit."

Fans took to the comments section of Osmond's post about the North Pole Express and remarked how much Osmond's children looked like him and how wonderful they looked.

Donny Osmond Is Grateful for His Wife of 44 Years

Before Osmond met his wife, he had plenty of female attention but remained lonely. He confessed he felt like something was missing in his life. Shortly after that, he met his wife, Debbie.

Debbie was fifteen when the couple met, and she dated Osmond's brother before she was with him. When Osmond expressed an interest in Debbie, his father told him he could not date her because it would negatively affect his career.

Yet Osmond could not conceive of a life without Debbie and secretly dated her for three years before they married in 1978. He talked about what happened when he told his father, sharing:

"When I told my dad, he said, 'Well, there goes your career, but this is ushering in your personal life.'"

When Osmond ended his time on "Donny and Marie," he lost most of his fans, and he lost money due to bad investments. This left him and his wife in poor financial shape. He found it to be a typical Hollywood story of riches to rags and said he and Debbie had to rebuild.

Ten years later, he had the opportunity to star in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," but found it challenging to perform because he was plagued by anxiety. Debbie helped him through this difficult time.

He said she told him to have an average show, and because he allowed himself to make mistakes, he did not feel as much pressure and could perform better than he ever had before.

While Debbie has helped Osmond rebuild his career, and he even released his 65th album with her by his side this year, he admitted that he focuses more on his family because they will be the people he turns to when his career is over.

Osmond confessed that he was grateful that his dear wife was able to be at home with their children while he was working and raised his sons for them.

Osmond has often shared bits of his life with Debbie on his social media. In 2016, he shared a post on Facebook, talking about how appreciative he was of Debbie. He said:

"With the way she looks, who would ever believe that a woman that lovely is a grandmother eight times?!"

Osmond Is a Father of Five Sons, and They All Look Like Him

Debbie and Osmond welcomed five children together during their marriage, all of whom they are incredibly proud of. His sons' names are Donald Osmond Jr., Jeremy Osmond, Brandon Osmond, Christopher Osmond, and Joshua Osmond.

While Osmond is proud of his sons and recognizes what good men they have turned out to be, he says none of it would have been able to happen had he not married Debbie, as she helped him raise the young men.

Osmond mentioned that Debbie was "the core of [his] life" and that her influence was felt throughout their family. He admitted he would be nothing without her there to love and support him.

Osmond shared a photo of himself and his sons in June last year on Instagram. All six men stood in a row, dressed in suits and smiling at the camera. Fans immediately noted how similar they all looked.

One fan commented: "Wow, they all look like him," as others noted how suave the men looked and what a great job Osmond and Debbie had done of raising them. He said he loved her more every day. What a wonderful family!
