Comedian Deon Cole's Private Life: He Is Not Married and Has a Son
Deon Cole has provided comedic relief for years and never fails to steal the scene whenever he's in it. The comedy star has not been very vocal about his love life, but he has scattered a few clues on Twitter.
"Black-ish" star Deon Cole has been a famous face on television in recent years. He is widely known for his portrayal of Charlie Telphy on the BET series, "Black-ish" and its spin-off "Grown-ish." Cole has also scored a lead role in BET's "Average Joe" and spread waves of laughter on his stand-up comedy special, "Deon Cole: Charleen's Boy."
His rise to stardom has fans and the media zooming in to have a better look at his private life, raising questions about his relationship status and offspring. We revealed the actor's statements about his only child and made observations about his tweets regarding relationships.

Deon Confirmed His Bachelor Status in 2013
Cole has suggested he is single on two different occasions. The first time fans caught a whiff of the actor's relationship status was when he tweeted that he watched adult content in the morning and added, "Take that, MARRIED MEN!" The tweet suggested that the actor was not married and confirmed his "alone time" schedule.
In June 2022, the actor again reassured his single status via Twitter when he shared a video of a groom pulling off sexy dance moves in front of his wife before reaching for the garter wrapped around her leg. "Now I want to get married just to do this! He did that."
Cole's fans saw him as a married man on two occasions; the first was when he played Tammy Townsend's husband in the BET+ comedy series "Average Joe." He shared a video on Instagram of himself sharing a boisterous moment with Tammy behind the scenes of the BET+ series.
Cole has also shared videos from high-profile entertainers congratulating him on doing a stellar job on the stand-up special.
Previously, Cole was also seen getting married on television in the episode "My Work-Friend's Wedding" from season eight of ABC's comedy series "Black-ish." In the episode, Cole married actress Vivica A. Fox, and at the time, the actor argued that it was one of the funniest episodes among all of the show's seasons.

His On-Screen Wife's Relationship Status in Real Life
As of late, Fox, who is widely known for starring alongside Jada Pinkett in the 1996 movie, "Set It Off" has been in a relationship. She was interviewed by Access Hollywood in 2021 while the COVID-19 pandemic was in full swing and the interviewer queried about her relationship status at the time, a question to which she answered:
"Dating is interesting for me because of COVID. I am still dating, and there's someone, but, you know... You know, it's ebb and flows. It starts off great, and the only thing I can say is that the honeymoon period is over."
She continued, saying that she was getting to know her then-boyfriend and noted that she was simultaneously beginning to "explore new horizons." Her statement revealed troubles in her romantic life and that she was looking for love elsewhere. Fox is also known for starring in the Quentin Tarantino martial arts film, "Kill Bill.
Deon Cole Is Father to a Young Man Named Dylan
Cole is a father of one; his son's name is Dylan. In 2015, the actor shared a tweet wishing his son a happy birthday, which read, "Happy birthday to the love of my life! My son Dylan!" The actor went on to thank Dylan for putting up with him, and his busy career, which he noted is for the benefit of his son.
During a Conan interview in 2018, the actor revealed that Dylan had just celebrated his 16th birthday and requested to get a Bugatti as his first car. Judging by the tweet's date and his sweet sixteen in 2018, Dylan was presumably born on September 15, 2002, and will be 21 years old this year.
Cole's little boy is growing into a man, and his father has not missed a beat. In 2020, he admitted to having a hunch that Dylan had done the deed. Cole said that he noticed his used-to-be nerdy son suddenly become cool. The actor joked that there's something about coitus that smooths one out.
The actor's comedy special "Deon Cole: Charleen's Boy" has been streaming on Netflix since November 15, 2022, and the show has brought laughs and tears of joy to the eyes of many, like a post he shared on Instagram of a fan recording their father rolling with laughter while watching the show.
Cole has also shared videos from high-profile entertainers congratulating him on doing a stellar job on the stand-up special. Some entertainers showing him love are Jamie Foxx, Method Man, and "First Wives Club" star RonReaco Lee.
The comedy star has a few projects in the works, including "You People," which is set to be released on January 27, starring Jonah Hill, Lauren London, and Eddie Murphy. He will portray Demetrius in the film. He was also cast in "Action #1," which is also complete in production and set to be released soon.
