Ripley Parker is a celebrity child that comes from a family of entertainers. She is the daughter of the English actress and producer Thandiwe Newton, and her father, Ol Parker, is a writer, director, and producer.
Thandiwe Newton is known for her roles in "For Colored Girls," "Half of a Yellow Sun," "Good Deeds," "Westworld," "Mission: Impossible II," and more.
She also has another daughter who is walking in her footsteps. Her second daughter, Nico Parker, is making waves as she recently rose to fame for her work as an actress.

Nico stole the hearts of fans for her role as Sarah Miller in the first episode of the post-apocalyptic series "The Last of Us." She starred alongside Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Anna Torv, Gabriel Luna, and others.
Even though her character died early in the series, her performance impressed fans so much that they looked her up and discovered more about her life.
Before becoming a part of the series, the young actress revealed that she had watched people play the game and always cried. However, she is not the only talented child of her parents, as her older sister, Ripley, is also in the entertainment industry but is working behind the camera.

Ol Parker and Thandiwe Newton's First Daughter Ripley Is Following in Her Father's Footsteps
Ripley is the first child of her parents and was born on December 17, 2000. She is currently based in London and is a writer, like her father. Her passion for writing and art began when she was young.
She is currently signed to an agency and is working on a series focused on the mental health issues that British teenagers face. In addition, she is working on a musical based on the music of the English rock band, The Smiths.
She is also working on a play that will focus on the life of the American poet Emily Dickinson. Not only does she write for the screen, but she also contributed an essay to "It's Not OK To Feel Blue," which was her first published writing.
Ripley has made her parents proud, and her mother is incredibly proud of her. In 2021, her mother took to Instagram to celebrate her, and in the caption, she wrote:
"My darling girl. Watch. This. Space. No, just watch every space cause she'll be there. She's magical. Forever @ripley.parker xxxx."
True to her mother's words, Ripley made it to Variety's list of "10 Brits to Watch for 2023." She was mentioned alongside actress Bella Ramsey, writer Dolly Alderton, director and producer Benjamin Caron, and others.
Ripley Parker Inspired Her Father to Create "Ticket to Paradise"
Ripley's talents have also included being an inspiration to her father. He confessed that the idea for his 2022 movie "Ticket To Paradise" came from their talk. He said:
"The movie came out of a conversation I was having about Ripley, who was 18, I think, at the time and starting to make her own decisions — all of which are clearly brilliant and not necessarily the ones I'd have made for her."
The movie, which stars George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Kaitlyn Dever, and others, is focused on a divorced couple's decision to team up and prevent their daughter from repeating their mistakes.

Ripley Parker Made Headlines at 16 When She Cursed Boris Johnson to His Face
As a teenager, Ripley showed that she had a rebellious side. Even though her parents raised her not to swear, she once used a swear word while talking to the former UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
In 2018, Thandiwe Newton revealed what her daughter had done on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," and she said her daughter's action made her proud.
At the time, the actress's friends took Ripley to watch the "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" show when she saw and accosted Boris. After cursing him to his face because of Brexit, she asked him to enjoy the show.
