Robyn Dixon's Parents Had Business-Minded Careers before Dad Pursued Music
Roby Dixon's parents have been married for as long as she can remember. Her parents are both professionals with experience in the health and entrepreneurial departments. She has also faced unrest regarding her ethnicity and that of her mother. Here is a look into the TV star's parents' lives.
Robyn Dixon is a reality TV star best known for starring in "The Real Housewives of Potomac." She is a mainstay on the show, featuring her parents, Gladys Bragg and Guy Bragg. She has appeared in a total of 131 episodes since 2016.

Gladys Bragg Found Her Success at Owning Business
Gladys started as a professional in 1973 when she worked as a software consultant at Western Electric. She went on to work at Western Electrical for three years — her shortest term of employment to date. In 1979 she took up an opportunity at Morgan State University, where she served as a Faculty Member for 11 years.
After 11 years at the University, she embarked on a new adventure, taking up entrepreneurship in 1992. She established Specialty Marketing and Printing Services in 1992, and that became her most dedicated venture to date. Her Baltimore-based company has been in business for the last three decades.
The actress's mother has spent much of her life as a student, acquiring two qualifications. Her marketing knowledge could be traced back to Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where she obtained an MBA in Marketing and Information Systems. She also received a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from North Carolina Central University.

Guy Bragg Made His Dream Come True as a Musician after Retirement
Guy ended his professional career as a dentist a while back and chased his lifelong dream of being a Jazz musician. He founded and played on a band called Sterling Silver, and they collaborated on an album released in 2010, "Never Too Late." The adequately titled album includes many songs written and composed by him.
Before Sterling Silver, Guy was a member of a band called The Sonnets during the 1950s. They recorded two singles that gained little recognition but were incredibly proud of their effort's outcomes. However, his dream manifested, and he now performs with his Jazz band at events.
In March 2019, Guy and his bandmates played at the Owings Mills, Maryland restaurant, Bonefish Restaurant. They played at a big event later that year on July 13. Sterling Silver played at the Maryland Black Caucus Foundation in Martins West, Beltsville, and according to Guy's Instagram post, their participation was fruitful.
Robyn Dixon's Parents Were Assumed White By Her Peers Due to Her Lighter Skin Color
Glady's and Guy's ethnicity, and that of their daughter, was often a topic among her peers and predominantly white schoolmates. People would always assume that her parents were white based on her appearance. She recalled a time in third grade when the topic in the classroom, which was supported by her teacher, was "what color is Robyn?"
Gladys does not know much about her heritage, which interests her daughter in her ancestry. The actress revealed that although Gladys is fair-skinned, she has only lived as a black person. Although never sure, Glady has been told that her roots are European, Native American, and possibly Filipino.
Robyn took an ancestry test in 2019, which revealed that she is 59% European, 39% African, and 2% Asian. She shared these results on an Instagram post, with a caption proudly supporting her claim on her African American upbringing despite the dominance of European in her ancestry.
Gladys's daughter is known for playing Donna in the 2017 movie "Never Fall in Love." She gained more recognition on Talk Shows, making eight appearances on single father Andy Cohen's show, "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen."
She has also appeared on the Warner Bros' distributed daytime television talk show, "The Real," hosted by rapper Jeezy's wife, Jeannie Mai Jenkins. Fans can look forward to more appearances of Gladys's daughter on "The Real Housewives of Potomac."
