Kountry Wayne's Kids Are His Focus in Life - Facts about Them
Kountry Wayne's kids, all ten of them, are the reason the comedian is so successful. They are his biggest blessing, co-stars in viral skits, and motivation for having a sober life. So don't even bother asking him about getting a vasectomy.
By the time De Wayne Colley, aka Kountry Wayne, was 22, he had already fathered seven children. At 32, he had enough money for a home where all of them, including the three kids that followed them, had their own bedroom.
When the clean comedian says his life is better offline than what he shows to millions online, one can believe him. As of 2023, he has three sons and seven girls and is not against adding to his brood if a future partner wishes to.
Kountry Wayne Lives with His Children in the Same House
Kountry Wayne was born into a complicated domestic situation. On his mother's side, he has two older sisters and seven younger siblings through his dad. When he was 11, his mom died, and he moved between his grandma and dad, eventually settling with an older cousin when he was in 9th grade.
The freedom he enjoyed soon came with a lot of responsibility when he and his high school sweetheart became parents to Tony Colley and the two babies they had together after him. Three different women bore him six more children over the next five years.
He had long-term relationships with his children's first and last mothers, his high school sweetheart and Gena Renee. The content producer revealed in November 2021 that he had purchased a mansion for his outsized family.
Kountry Wayne had shorter relationships with the other three women with whom he had children, only finding out about two of his kids when he received a paternity test request through the mail. In 2021, he learned that he had a 13-year-old son.
He credits becoming a teen father for never drinking or smoking because he could not afford it. He dabbled with rapping for a few years and released a few videos from 2013 while trying to find his sound.
Around the same time his first comedy skit went viral on Facebook in October 2014, a rap track also blew up. Despite getting airplay on the radio, he quit the rap game the same day the song was recognized by the masses and focussed on comedy.
His social media success got him jobs presenting comedy nights, exposing him to stand-up. In May 2015, he was fortunate to be paid for his first stand-up gig. It was only during the pandemic, when he was down to $13 000 in his bank account and $70 000 in monthly expenses, that he took monetizing online content seriously.
Kountry Wayne claims that he made $7 million within 300 days with the online skits he makes with his family. His innate understanding of algorithms and finding his niche as a clean comedian with the aunties on Facebook, like Tyler Perry, is the bedrock of his success.
Those things, in addition to his children, of course, who he calls his "biggest assets" for content creation. The mothers of his children have also been pulled into the fray. He appreciates the sacrifices women make when having children and shares the bounty of his victories with them.
Children by Kountry Wayne's Only Wife
Gena Renee and Kountry Wayne had known each other since 2010 and married in 2018. As they had already lived as man and wife for years, the comedian said that none of the other mothers of his kids were upset by the development.
The couple had their first daughter in December 2013, Melissa Colley, followed by Honest Dream Colley in January 2018. Renee supported him during his court battle to get custody of one of his daughters in an orphanage.
The actor filed for divorce in December 2018, which was finalized by February of the following year. The sudden change in their relationship status led to rumors that the internet personality had an affair with Jess Hilarious, which he refuted. The media can't help but compare him to serial dads like Boosie and Nick Cannon.
Kountry Wayne says that though they are divorced on paper, he still takes care of Renee "like a wife." She is a beauty and lifestyle vlogger named Gena Colley but trades as Gena Renee on other platforms.

The "Holliday Heartbreak" actor does not think he spoiled his eldest by giving him a $120 000 BMW for his sweet 16th birthday because he earned it through his famous role in the viral content.
Temar took his father's lead when he chose his online moniker, @kountrycookin. In his JV season, he is already showing a lot of promise on the basketball court, being named Basketball Player of the Game four times between 2021 and 2022.

The "Strange Love" actor says that while all his children are hilarious, his younger daughters are naturally funny. Kountry Wayne said on Instagram in 2019 that his mother's life was cut short by worries because she did not have a parental figure to protect her:
"So I made a promise if I ever had daughters, I will be there no matter what my circumstances are to make sure they know that as long as I live, whatever they go through, daddy will always be there!"
In a 2017 interview, Kountry Wayne said he would have liked to have all his children with one woman so they could all live under one roof.
He was more realistic four years later, knowing that not many women could or wanted to have that many children, so he was grateful for how things had turned out for him by the grace of God. It helped that he had bought a house large enough for them all to cohabitate together by then.
