Allison Jones Foster Is David Foster's Oldest Daughter Whose Mother Remains Unknown
Allison Jones Foster, David Foster's daughter, reunited with the famous musician many years after he gave her up for adoption. Although her biological mother is not in the picture, Allison Jones Foster and her father share a close relationship and work together.
While the Grammy-award-winning singer, producer, and composer has a long list of well-known children, very little is known about David's eldest daughter, who came into his life 30 years after he gave her up for adoption.
David was in his twenties when he gave Allison away. However, the father/daughter duo did not let the time that passed stop them from forming a close relationship. Allison joined her father's foundation and has publicly supported him at events.

The Identity of Allison's Mother Is a Mystery
After David gave Allison up for adoption in 1970 and later reunited with her, the famous musician has not publicly shared who Allison's biological mother is.
However, Allison has slipped into David's life and worked for his foundation, David Foster Foundation, since 2009. Her bio on the company's website, in part, reads:
"Allison's background includes more than 15 years with Fortune 500 companies in various roles, including sales, business development, and product management. Allison's role on the board is to strengthen strategic corporate partnerships and improve community and business relations."

In the past, David Foster has opened up about his struggles in raising his daughters and balancing a successful career. He shared:
"I missed a lot because I didn't raise them. The geography was really tough. That was my own doing and a regret that I have, but it was what it was, and there was no changing it."
David welcomed his fourth daughter, Erin Foster, on August 23, 1982. She also developed a knack for acting and landed roles in "Still Waiting..." in 2009 and "Circle" in 2010. While her father married his fourth wife in 2019, Erin married her longtime boyfriend, Simon Tikhman.
