Milo William Langdon was born into a family brimming with talent, as his parents, Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon, and other family members successfully joined the entertainment industry. He is said to resemble his rockstar grandfather, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.

New York native Liv Tyler has been gracing big screens for over two decades, though she initially began as a model in her teens. Some of her earliest credits include appearances in Bruce Beresford's "Silent Fall" and James Mangold's "Heavy."

The latter film gained international acclaim, and Liv continued showcasing her acting range before landing the role that would skyrocket her fame in "Stealing Beauty." As her career thrived, Liv also found love and started a family; however, things took a significant turn after her divorce.

Milo William Langdon drew his first breath at a New York hospital in December 2004, born to Liv and her ex-husband, actor and composer, Royston Langdon.

A source close to Milo's mom said her delivery was "short" and "easy." By the next morning, the actress was feeling "terrific," and she couldn't get over how handsome little Milo was.

Milo's parents married on March 25, 2003, in Barbados after a two-year engagement. They separated in 2008 and divorced the following year.

The couple's split was amicable, and as Liv's representative stated, they remained on good terms and devoted to maintaining a good co-parenting relationship. However, while their marriage ended smoothly, the split brought significant changes to Liv and Milo's lives.

In 2011, the 45-year-old opened up about those changes and admitted that she struggled as a newly single and working mom, so she took a hiatus from the film industry.

Seeing her family with Royston fall apart shattered a life-long dream for Liv, and although she tried to be patient as she navigated the change, she said it was "very painful." After her divorce, however, rebuilding her life and tending to Milo's needs was her top priority. She explained:

"Because I can't go to work and be happy unless he's happy and feels secure."

Moreover, Liv found it difficult to be away from home for lengthy periods. But eventually, she found a balance between her home life and work and returned to movie-making. The first two films she worked on after her break were "Super" and "The Ledge."

From a young age, Liv understood that valuing one's career over one's family often led to one's familial relationships suffering. She had grown up under her mom Belle Buelle's care alongside her partner, Todd Rundgren, and only met her biological dad, Steven Tyler, when she was 11. She found that she had three other siblings too.

Last year, in July, Liv shared a lovely photo of herself and Milo embracing with their eyes closed in the wilderness under a gloomy sky. Milo towered over his mom, resting his head above hers, wearing a powder blue sweater with a matching beanie. Gushing about her son, Liv sweetly captioned:

"Milo my giant love [pink heart emoji] the greatest hug you can imagine."

Milo frequently appeared on Liv's Instagram, including when she celebrated his 16th birthday in December 2020. She excitedly posted a series of photos depicting the festivities that took place on the special day, captioning:

"This week our Milo turned 16!!!!! [pink heart and red balloon emojis] it's taken me a week to fully digest my 1st born baby love is truly a young man now. He is 6 foot 2 inches, Hilarious, Smart , [heart eyes emoji] touching and kind !!!!!"

Milo, who is said to resemble his grandfather greatly, also seems fond of nature, as Liv once shared a photo of him bonding with a white horse. Not only is he close with his grandma, but Milo also spends time with his great-grandma.
