Macon Stapleton Is Chris Stapleton's Son and Has a Twin
Macon Stapleton's parents, Chris and Morgane Stapleton have been careful to protect their children against the Hollywood spotlight. However, the couple allowed a few glimpses about him and his twin brother before and after his birth.
Chris Stapleton declared in 2018 that he would protect his children from the spotlight. Explaining why he didn't plan to share detailed updates about his kids' lives, the country crooner maintained that he "signed up" to be a music star, not his children.
He described himself as a "very private person" before adding that his youngsters "deserved the chance to be children." Therefore, he kept them away from the spotlight. Chris and his wife, Morgane Stapleton, have welcomed five kids into their union.

Among them are Macon Stapleton and his twin, Samuel. Although Macon had older siblings by the time he was born, his and his twin brother's names were the first to be publicly known. His parents protected their names and their lives alike for a time.
Macon's Parents Decided Not to Reveal His Gender until He and His Twin Were Born
Macon's mom announced she was expecting him and Samuel on a heartfelt Instagram tribute, celebrating her tenth wedding anniversary with his dad in October 2017. Alongside a black-and-white portrait of the couple, she wrote:
"14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way. Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round."

Chris also reportedly announced the big news during a concert where Morgane joined him on stage. As the singer gushed about his wife, he said she was the mother of his two kids and "two more." Several months later, in April 2018, Macon and Samuel were born.
That same month, Macon's dad won Album of the Year for "From a Room: Volume 1" and Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2018 Academy of Country Music awards. Reba McIntire accepted the awards on his behalf and announced the twins' birth.
Morgane also celebrated their arrival on Instagram, sharing a black-and-white photo of the infants cradled on her chest. She revealed they'd been born over a month early at Centennial Women's & Children's Hospital in Nashville.
Until Macon and Samuel were born, their parents had kept their gender a secret. When their dad spoke about his reaction to discovering that he and Morgane were having twins, he said he couldn't stop giggling for over 20 minutes out of shock.
Macon's Mother Is Also a Singer
In addition to acting and composing, Macon's mother is a singer-songwriter and a certified doula. Apart from collaborating with her husband and pushing him to reach his highest potential, she has worked with other country stars, including Carrie Underwood, Lee Ann Womack, and Trisha Yearwood.
She met Chris in 2003 when they worked as songwriters for adjacent Nashville publishing companies. After witnessing his talent, Morgane developed a crush on him, and the pair eventually had their first date when Chris asked to write a song with her. They married in October 2007.

Macon's Parents Are Rising 5 Children
Macon's elder siblings are Waylon Stapleton, born in 2009, and Ada Stapleton, in 2010. Speaking about their gender predictions before Macon and Samuel arrived, Morgane said Ada and Waylon wanted a baby brother and sister, adding:
"They want one of each so they each get a new buddy, that's what they say. I'll see what I can do. I don't want to find out but the kids want to find out so I think we're gonna find out. I lost that fight."
Two months following the twins' arrival, Chris marveled at how well Ada and Waylon handled the "loss of attention" on account of their now-four-year-old infant siblings. He and Morgane completed their family in 2019 with a boy whose name they have yet to reveal.
