Does Ramón Rodríguez Have a Girlfriend? The 'Will Trent' Star Was Once Linked to Minka Kelly
Ramón Rodríguez's girlfriend rumors have dampened in recent years as he does an excellent job at keeping his private life out of the media. The actor is now the lead character of an ABC series despite not intending to be an actor in the first place.
Ramon Rodriguez is the face of the ABC TV series "Will Trent," which is based on Karin Slaughter's New York Times bestselling novel series. The first season's story was rendered from her book "Triptych."
The crime drama set in Georgia follows the life of a quirky special agent with unique skills. Rodriguez stars alongside Erika Christensen, who plays Angie Polaski, and Iantha Richardson, who plays Faith Mitchell. In the past, Rodriguez has been romantically linked to a fellow co-star while being the only man on set.
Ramón Rodríguez Never Chose to Become an Actor; It Happened Accidentally
Rodriguez was baited into an acting career with a pair of sneakers. His friend learned about a Nike competition whereby participants would be asked to do tricks, and the best out of the lot would be selected for a Nike commercial. Rodriguez was sold by the fact that participants were promised free sneakers.
He entered and won the competition, thanks to his outstanding ability on the day and passion for the sport. After this opportunity put him in front of the camera for the first time, Rodriguez took on other minor roles and attended classes to learn about acting. He got his first small screen role as Kevin Vasquez in "Rescue Me."
He was then cast in a few TV series and short films before landing a role in "Ira & Abby," starring Daena E. Title's husband of four decades, Jason Alexander. The actor has scored more prominent roles in films like "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" with Machine Gun Kelly's lover Megan Fox.
His most recent role sees him play the protagonist of the ABC series "Will Trent." He portrays Will Trent, a dyslexic 3-piece-suit-wearing Special Agent from Atlanta, who uses his outstanding visual skills to enforce the law. The series premiered at 22:00 on January 3, 2023.
He has built a reputation for delivering quality acting on the small screen in shows like "The Wire," a lead role in "Gang Related," and a part in "The Affair" reportedly starring Catherine FitzGerald's husband, Dominic West, who was the subject of controversy involving his marriage a while back.
Rodriguez is very popular on-screen yet seemingly apathetic towards social media. He has a following of just over 20,000 users on Instagram and has shared four posts with his followers to date.

Ramón Rodríguez Was Linked to Minka Kelly in the Past
In 2011, Rodriguez starred in "Charlie's Angels," a TV series about three criminals who got a golden chance at revival under the leadership of Charlie Townsend. One of the 'angels,' Eve French, was portrayed by Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive, actress Minka Kelly, whose relationship with Rodriguez off-set spurred some rumors.
Kelly was previously in a relationship with a now-retired baseball shortstop, Derek Jeter. While working on the series, a source close to the actress revealed that she spent time in Rodriguez's trailer beyond the hours of shooting, suggesting that the actress was romantically involved with Rodriguez.
Rodriguez was spotted with his co-star a day after she split with the former shortstop, adding more speculation about the nature of their relationship. Daily Mail reiterated a statement from E! that suggests the actress' ex-boyfriend was keen to salvage their relationship and rubbished claims of Rodriguez and Kelly dating.

The show's ratings were poor, leading to a conclusion of the production after one season. Similarly, the rumors about Rodriguez and his co-star's relationship burned out as they did not provide any confirmation.
A different source from the one that revealed their late-night conversations provided a reason behind Rodriguez and Kelly's close relationship. "Ramon is basically the only guy on set, so, of course, they all hand out with him," they clarified.

Ramón Rodríguez Keeps His Dating Life Away from the Limelight
Rodriguez has kept a tight lip about his love life since he was rumored to be in a relationship with his "Charlie's Angels" co-star. Whether he is single or not is unknown, but Kelly is the actor's singular romantic link to date.
He seems to be focused on his career and doing a stellar job at that, landing more significant roles as he progresses, like his most recent in "Will Trent." Rodriguez has a few projects in the making, including a production credit on a short film titled "Rouse" and an actor and producer role on the TV series "Olga Dies Dreaming."
Love is not a sure thing in the actor's life, and his fans remain uncertain. He continues to persevere as an actor without exposing details about his private life on social media. He revealed that he plans to launch a production company to provide opportunities for Latinx filmmakers to tell Latin stories authentically.
