Isac Hallberg Is Rebecca Ferguson's Son Who Stays Out of the Spotlight

Rebecca Ferguson's son, Isac Hallberg, was born during her long-term relationship with her former partner. Although both Isac Hallberg and his mother lead private lives, the "Dunes" actress revealed a little about their life in a small village in Sweden.

The Swedish-English actress became a mother for the first time when she welcomed Isac in 2007. Despite being private people, the public caught wind of Isac's parents' separation, and his mother kept sealed lips about the matter.

However, years later, she found love again and revealed that Isac— who became an older brother— was present during the ceremony and played an important role.

Isac Hallberg's Parents Are No Longer Together

During their ten-year relationship, Rebecca and former partner, Ludwig Hallberg— a mental coach— welcomed Isac in 2007. Like his mother, Isac's life remained private. However, during an interview, his mother spoke about the little village they lived in Sweden and shared:

"I live in a little fishing village where high heels and make-up is not a daily routine for me. I love it, I love the contrast of the intensity of what this brings and then to kick back and have nature, it's a good contrast."

Isac's mother is of mixed heritage; with a Swedish father and an English mother, she revealed that she grew up in two worlds that worked well and was raised bilingual.

In 2015, Isac's parents went their separate ways. In April of that year, Isac's mother moved out of the family apartment— leaving him with his father— and moved into another home five minutes away.

When rumors began circulating about their breakup, Isac's mother was asked about the personal matter during the premiere of "I'm Ingrid." She responded, "We'll skip that question."

"I'm Ingrid" is only one of the successful movies on Isac's mother's list of acting accolades. And despite being an award-winning actress, to maintain a sense of normalcy in her professional life for Isac, his mother revealed that he would sometimes accompany her to movie sets. She shared:

"He comes to the set, I go off and leave him with the stunt guys, and I come in, and he's hanging off a harness somewhere. He loves it, but I don't think he would like to act."

In 2018, Rebecca Ferguson married a businessman in an intimate ceremony, during which an 11-year-old Isac served as a ring bearer. "They grow so fast," his mother said.

According to reports, Isac's mother's relationship with his stepfather began in 2016, and according to the actress, married life was no different from life before. "I think we both wanted to step over all thresholds. Also, I'm not very religious. I believe in love," Rebecca said.

Friends and family joined Isac's mother and stepfather on their big day, and the actress revealed that they rented a cottage and dressed cozily in wool socks and jumpers. As for her wedding outfit, Rebecca shared that she wore "a beautiful skirt."

In 2018, Isac became a big brother when his mother gave birth to his sister, Saga. In 2020, Isac's mother, stepfather, and half-sister were spotted enjoying an outing in Venice, and while speaking about motherhood, Isac's mother shared:

"I do worry that I'm going to mess it up for my son, we usually do, don't we? We always make mistakes. I think we look at our backgrounds, and I think, what didn't I like about myself, and what can I change?"

Despite achieving stardom after starring in films alongside Tom Cruise, Zendaya, and Timothée Chalamet, Isac's mother thought she was still unrecognizable and preferred it that way.

While she enjoyed getting dolled up in heels, one of her favorite things to do was kick them off and go for a long walk in the woods. She also raised her son out of the spotlight, as he does not appear on his mother's social media.
