The Couple Got Engaged Less than a Month after Meeting

"Happy Valentine’s Day to my incredible wife @taylinlewan. 7 years ago, we sat in Arizona on Valentine’s Day, we met 10 days before that. You were going back to Nashville, and I was so scared if you would even come back. 2 weeks later, you came back to AZ, and we got engaged. I love you so much."

The couple married in Big Sur in July 2018, with their youngest baby girl in attendance and another one on the way. In 2018, shortly after their wedding, Taylin shared a loving message to Taylor on Instagram, in which she described her anguish over the severe concussion he suffered in 2017 and their struggle to overcome it.

The 2018 concussion hasn't been the player's only health challenge. In October 2022, Taylor underwent surgery, and Taylin shared a sweet photo of herself, Taylor, and their two little girls, Wynne Rebel Lewan and Willow Lewan. She wrote:

“Waiting for the love of my life to wake up from surgery to climb this mountain all over again. Couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who's continued to reach out over the last few weeks even if I haven’t responded."
