Her post comprised pictures of the couple on vacation, celebrating Christmas, having fun in London, some hazardous kitchen activity, and Matarazzo in a Super Mario disguise. The "Stranger Things" star's girlfriend, Lizzy Yu, is also an actress and has a large following on social media, nearly 440,000 people.
Lu's singular released acting credit is a supporting role in the 2022 movie "Somewhere in Queens," starring 65-year-old actor Ray Romano and Serafina Simone Maniscalco's father, Sebastian Maniscalco. Lu has a part in three upcoming projects: "Year One," "Avatar: The Last Airbender," and "May December."

Since Matarazzo began dating Lu, he has not wasted the opportunity to wish her a happy anniversary. Last year, on March 4, the actor posted a picture of Lu walking through European-style buildings. He wished his "Goob" a happy fourth anniversary in the caption. In 2021, Matarazzo did the same, noting that their relationship was three years old.
In 2020, the actor shared pictures of himself and Lu looking relatively comfortable with each other in their second year. Again, he wished her a happy anniversary in the caption, though with more enthusiasm. "Can't even remember what it feels like not to have you at my side, and I don't want to," he said.
In 2019, celebrating their first anniversary, the "Stranger Things" actor posted a trice of images with his girlfriend. He wrote about how their relationship, which was just a year old, felt like ten years, despite him also feeling like he had just met her "yesterday."
Matarazzo is very affectionate towards his partner in public and celebrates her at any opportunity. He is accustomed to wishing her a happy birthday on Instagram every year. He wished Lu a happy birthday the following year, writing, "Happy Birthday to one of the funniest, sweetest, kindest, most loving people I've ever known. I hope this day was as incredible as you could have ever wanted." Matarazzo went to prom with Lu in May 2021 and thanked her for letting him tag along.
Matarazzo began acting when he played Benjamin in the Broadway show "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert." He also played Gavroche in "Les Misérables." The New London-born actor has cleidocranial dysplasia, and his character Dustin Henderson in "Stranger Things" has the same condition.
