Chloe Lattanzi shared a tribute to her family and friends on Friday, March 16. The singer shared a video that comprised a compilation of some of her family moments while growing up. The post is a reaction to her emotional grief since her mother's passing.

In the video, we see the singer with various loved ones, mostly her mother, Olivia Newton-John, through the years. Her caption details a deep appreciation for those who have known her since childhood.

In the caption, Lattanzi wrote that she is "barely standing" now that her mother is gone, adding that her family is the only thing that holds her up. The actress relies on her family during this time of difficulty, and her post is a great way to thank you. She then expanded her point of having a reliable family supporting her, saying:

"They don't have to share your blood. But when your lucky enough to have people who really see you. Who know the truth of your life, the real stories, the truth, the true you, man there's no greater blessing (sic)."

Lattanzi and her stepfather, John Easterling, are committed to continuing her late mother's annual walk supporting The ONJ Cancer Wellness & Research Centre Walk for Wellness. She revealed that continuing her noble initiative is a source of help in this tough grief. "It's helping me not to lose it," said Lattanzi.

The official death date of Lattanzi's mother, Newton-John, is August 8, 2022. The actress, famed for her slew of hits, including "Have You Never Been Mellow," "Physical," and "You're the One That I Want," was 73 years of age when she died at her Southern California ranch.

Her husband, Easterling, announced her death in a post on Facebook, expanding on her thirty-year fight against breast cancer. Single dad John Travolta, her duet partner from "Grease," also shared a tribute honoring her life on Instagram. "My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives better," he wrote.

Lattanzi, who was present for Newton-John's final moments, opened up about the last words her frail life afforded her in a conversation with "TODAY." She revealed that after sharing a few jokes with her mother, the final words "My Sunshine" were directed to her.

Newton-John and her first husband, Matt Lattanzi, welcomed the only child they shared on January 17, 1986. Lattanzi followed in her mother's footsteps, carving a path for herself in Hollywood as a composer and actress.
