In a recent Instagram post, Crawford took a trip down memory lane when he shared a photo dump of himself over the years during different stages of his life. Some pictures showed a young Crawford before he became a record-setting player, while other snaps captured him during his older years, including the day he decided to retire.

"We were in Jordan's restaurant, and at that moment, it just hit me. The guy who helped me fall in love with the game, it was the perfect time to let it go at his place," Crawford captioned the post in part.

Crawford Announced His Retirement Shortly After His Birthday

After celebrating his birthday in 2022, Crawford took to social media to announce his retirement from the NBA after 20 seasons. He began his career with the Chicago Bulls after the Cavaliers drafted him in 2000. During his 20 seasons as a professional basketball player, Crawford played for nine different teams, with his longest spell being five full seasons with the LA Clippers.

A few years before retiring, Crawford made history when he became the oldest player in the NBA to score 50 points and the only player to have 50-point games with four different teams. Since retiring from the NBA, Crawford has not stayed from basketball too much and has become a commentator.

Crawford also couches children and revealed, "That's truly the COOLEST thing about making it to the NBA, the impact you can have on people. Kids especially. "
