Bert Kreischer Questions Whether He Would Be Successful without His Wife LeeAnn Kreischer
On the latest episode of "Something's Burning," Bert Kreischer asked his guests, Legion of Skanks, the age-old question, "Be real, do you think I would be as successful as I am if I didn't have LeeAnn?" This came just after he asked his off-camera wife if they had more beer.
Big Jay Oakerson definitively said, "No," joking that Bert Kreischer can leave LeeAnn Kreischer now because he's on "cruise control." Dave Smith called LeeAnn "a good woman," comparing her to Penny cleaning up after Bert's Inspector Gadget. Big Jay said his wife, Christine, is also like that.
2023 is an excellent year for the frequently shirtless standup comedian, with his comedy special, "Razzle Dazzle," streaming on Netflix, and a feature film, "The Machine," set for release in May. Jimmy Tatro plays a younger version of him in the movie based on his comedy routine.
Bert & LeeAnn Have Been Married since 2003 after He Was a 'Wreck' on Their First Date
Recounting the story of their first date on her podcast, "Wife of the Party," earlier this month, LeeAnn said that they met when the standup comedian tagged along with his roommate to a group bowling hangout. Taking a liking to him, she asked his roommate to give Bert her number: "He's super fun; we'd have a good time."
The funny couple celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary at the end of December...
The host admitted that she expected they would date for two weeks and be "friends for life," but he never called. The roommate handed the phone to Bert when she followed up, and she told him she would say yes if he asked her out.
LeeAnn said Bert Kreischer showed up to their date a "wreck," not eating and removing his shoes during dinner. He then tried to prolong the date by inviting her to a bar, suggesting dessert, and asking if she wanted to get a six-pack. LeeAnn continued:
"Finally, it was 2 o'clock in the morning, and I went goodbye, bye."
At nine the following morning, he called and asked what she was doing that evening, a routine he repeated "every single day." The couple got married in 2003 and share daughters, Georgia and Ida.
The funny couple celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary at the end of December last year. LeeAnn shared a vacation photo of them sitting poolside drinking champagne, and for once, Bert being half nude was venue appropriate.
