Don Lemon & Fiancé Tim Malone Share Photos from Their Easter Celebration with Family
Don Lemon experienced the warmth and generosity of a Malone Easter this Sunday with his fiancé, Tim Malone. The New York realtor shared a video slideshow of the CNN anchor partaking in his family's traditions.
Abstract artist Robert Lynn commented that Tim Malone is blessed with his family, "Thank you for sharing these personal fun photos. The food dishes are amazing!!" The impressive spread was served buffet style and included a roast with gravy, crisp asparagus, fruit salad, and baby potatoes.
Lemon and Malone wore blue sweaters over blue button shirts and khaki slacks with festive headgear with bunnies on springs. "You two are the cutest!" an Instagram user wrote.
"You guys look like you had a blast!! I hope you all had a very Happy Easter!! with lots of joy and eggs," YouTuber Austin's Art said, and Fowler's Garden Center wrote, "Looks like a great time was had by all. Happy Easter."
They are still discussing their options.
Over the weekend, Lemon also celebrated his beau's birthday at Tutto il Giorno, an Italian restaurant in New York. Sitting at the next table, TV personality Elaina Scotto did an "epic photobomb" of the couple posing with dessert.
April Is a Significant Month in Don Lemon and Tim Malone's Relationship
Three years ago, Tim Malone hijacked his own birthday festivities to propose to the broadcast journalist, 19 years his senior. He called in the help of their fur babies, Boomer and Barkley, having their bowtie dog tags engraved with, "Daddy will you marry Papa?"
In his April 6, 2019, Instagram post, Lemon uploaded photos of the unique proposal, which he captioned, "He gave me a present on his birthday. How could I say no?" In the split-screen image, the couple displays their engagement bands as they hold the tags on their puppies' necks.
In a virtual visit to Tamron Hall's daytime show in March 2021, Don Lemon said he is just about ready to start a family with his partner. He explained that they would have to get married first, which was hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
He explained that they wanted to safely celebrate their big day with family and friends. They are still discussing their options over whether they wish to adopt or have children with a surrogate. Surrogacy is popular with same-sex couples like Elton John and David Furnish.
