Busy Philipps’ Gay Child Birdie Is Mom’s Clone ‘down to Them Iconic Lips’ Showing Off Their Shirt
In a recent Instagram post, Busy Philipps and her daughter not only looked the same but appeared to have the same sense of humor as the pre-teen, who came out as gay when she was ten, wore a funny shirt.
On April 16, Busy shared a picture of Birdie rocking a "Victorious"-themed T-shirt and captioned the post, "Birdie bought a new T-shirt. I have no words." The T-shirt consisted of a picture of Elizabeth Gillies, who played Jade West, and Avan Jogia, who played Beck Oliver, on the hit Nickelodeon series, and humorously read, "I love my parents."
However, in the comments section, fans couldn't help but notice how much Birdie looked like her famous mother with her big eyes and pouty lips. "She is your twin!!!" one person commented, and another shared the same sentiment: "She's a mini you! That's too funny."

"She looks just like you! Omg," another fan wrote, and a fourth gushed, "Oh my goodness, she is just a little beauty. Absolute double of you." A fifth fan added, "Lmao hoooowww, did you birth your clone?!?! Girl, down to them iconic lips!!! I love it!!!"
The actress has not only often shared pictures of her mini-me but has also shared glimpses of Birdie's life. During one of her podcasts, Busy revealed that her daughter came out as gay and said:
"For those of you who are my friends listening at home, this is the first you're hearing that Birdie is gay and out. Birdie told us at ten years old, and we immediately... I mean, obviously, I knew that Birdie knew."

While navigating her sexuality as a pre-teen, Bridie's mom also shared the moment she found her daughter lying in the dark on the floor listening to "Fine Lines" by Harry Styles on repeat. The "Dawson's Creek" actress revealed that she saw her younger self in her daughter before checking on Birdie as she tackled teenage angst.
While Birdie came out as gay, she also revealed that her preferred pronouns were they/them. Before, Philipps admitted she was still getting the hang of things. "Because Birdie said that they would like their pronouns to be they/them, and I haven't been doing it..." she said.

As for Birdie's grandmother, Busy revealed that her mother wanted to understand the conversation around pronouns but was of an older generation. As a result, the actress recommended books that helped tackle the conversation.
Since coming out, Birdie has not only grown up to look just like her mom but is already as tall as her. In previous posts, Busy Philipps has documented her excursions with her daughter, including a red-carpet event where the mother-daughter duo looked stunning.
