Zach Bryan Had a Wife & Then Started a Relationship with a New Girlfriend

The topic of Zach Bryan's wife became a discussion among his fans barely three years after his marriage. The singer-songwriter, who was married briefly, moved on and found himself in another serious relationship.

Zach Bryan is known for his soulful music, but his personal life has also made headlines. He was previously married and sparked cheating rumors after entering a relationship with a new girlfriend. He has been private about his personal life; little is known about his marriage or ex-wife.

Rose Madden Became Zach Bryan's Wife in 2020

In July 2020, Rose Madden and Bryan tied the knot. The couple married at Colchuck Lake in Washington. For their big day, the bride wore a lacy, backless dress while holding a bouquet she made out of "safe way flowers."

The groom wore a dark suit, a white shirt, and a cream-colored tie. Their photographer, Brady Bates, revealed that he knew they were made for each other when he met them for the first time for their engagement session.

The following month after their wedding, the singer confirmed his marriage while responding to a fan's tweet about him not releasing new merch. Bryan wrote:

"ya sorry brother had to get married that's my bad [sic]"

Like the musician, Madden is in the Navy, and she once agreed with a reporter that the musician was "meek and unpretentious" even while they were at work.

Madden attended Lancaster High School before studying General Studies at Ohio University. After graduating in 2017, she returned to school to study Anthropology with a minor in Biological Sciences at Arizona State University.

Since graduating from Ohio University, she has worked as a Naval Aviator with the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. Since 2021, she has been the Ground Safety Petty Officer for Patrol Squadron 46.

While there is little information on when she met Bryan, the couple was already an item when he released "Rest, Rose" in October 2019. In a tweet about the song, the musician wrote: "...Thank God for the bullets I've dodged and for a woman who accepts me regardless."

Zach Bryan Found a New Girlfriend

While there was no information on what happened between Madden and Bryan, the musician moved on with Debbie Peifer. Peifer was born in 1998 and had the best 21st birthday party in 2019.

Based on her pictures on her Instagram account, she played lacrosse in school and loves to vacation with her friends. She also took to Instagram on January 2, 2023, to celebrate her relationship with Bryan and wrote in a since-deleted post: "One whole year of me and you... [sic]"

In the summer of 2022, it was reported that Peifer and Bryan were involved in a motorcycle accident that left him badly scraped while she was mostly unhurt. After the accident, he said that the experience was his worst and his best moment in five years.

In December 2022, Bryan posted several tweets within half an hour as he praised his girlfriend. The first tweet was about Peifer loving him for who he is and where he is. In the second tweet, he called her his right-hand lady and asked her not to change for anyone.

He also wrote that he was happier to be alive with each new day. The musician's third tweet included a song about their relationship, and he tweeted that God should bless and keep them.

However, at the end of May, Bryan turned to Twitter to share with his fans that his and Peifer's romance had come to an end. Although the singer did not share the cause of the breakup, he asked for privacy and respect during the "hard time."

Fans Think That Zach Cheated On His Wife

Why and when Bryan separated from his ex-wife, Madden, is unknown. However, just like country singer Jason Aldean cheated on his wife, by December 2021, fans were already accusing Bryan of cheating on Madden. One fan tweeted:

"are we all just going to ignore the fact that zach bryan cheated on his wife while she was serving in the military [sic]"

Months later, another fan was shocked Bryan could do such as he had named an album after his ex-wife. Another fan tweeted she would never be the same because of his actions.

Madden never commented on what happened between her and Bryan and why their relationship ended. The musician also never addressed his fans on the subject.

However, she seemed to have taken a break from her Instagram account and returned in mid-2021 with a post she captioned: "she's ba—ack ;-)." Since returning, she has yet to upload more photos to her page.
