Lee Cohen, a royal columnist, anticipated in February that the Sussexes could try to "upstage" King Charles at his coronation next month by releasing a portrait of their son, who turns four on the same day, May 6.

Lee Cohen told the Express, "It's not as if the Royal Family seek occasions to upstage the antics of the Sussexes, quite the opposite." The Californian-based couple released a birthday portrait of their daughter Princess Lilibet Diana during the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee last year.

Royal correspondent Natalie Oliveri speculated in the same Express article that Harry and Meghan Markle "might host a little party at Frogmore Cottage" for their son, Prince Archie Harrison's fourth birthday. However, this prediction won't come to fruition.

King Charles' youngest son is reportedly not expected to attend all the activities spread out over three days connected with the coronation.

There is a volunteer day and concert at Windsor Castle, amongst other official events in the lead-up, to and after the ceremony. It has not been established if Harry will be on the Buckingham Palace balcony with his family.

Prince Harry Spoke about the Coronation in January

Harry gave a comprehensive interview with the U.K. channel ITV that was released in January before publishing his memoir, "Spare."

On whether he would attend the crowning ceremony at Westminster Abbey in London, Harry said that a lot can happen "between now and then."

The mental health advocate seemed open to discussions with his estranged family, saying, "The door is always open; the ball is in their court."

Prince Harry remained close to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, throughout his family drama. Sitting down with "TODAY" host Hoda Kotb at the Invictus Games in April 2022, he spoke about their humorous rapport, "She's always got a great sense of humor with me."

Harry and Meghan Markle settled in Santa Barbara, California, with Oprah Winfrey as a neighbor. The Duke told Hoda they were "welcomed with open arms" and had “such a great community" in Santa Barbara.
