Rogers plays her music often, and looking back; she admitted she was in a bad space back then. But now, she has a good time singing along to her songs after realizing nothing lasts forever.
In 2016, she promoted her single, "James," on Twitter and wrote: "'James' is apparently also on the @Spotify Viral Chart. He’s one of my best friends to this day."

In addition, Rogers posted a snapshot showing her posing while holding a cookie against her mouth in an August 2020 social media upload.
The star captioned the post: "Make out w my chocolate chip boyfriend. Coast of Maine, July 2020." So far, this is the only "boyfriend" that has appeared in her posts.

"Never thought that years later there would be ears for these songs."
Rogers also wrote the song "I've Got a Friend" as a gift to her friend. She once revealed that she initially wrote the love song for her pal's birthday (similar to actor Scott Eastwood who received a portrait from his friend on his birthday)and later asked her permission to put it on record.
Rogers said friends became a big part of her life amid the pandemic. She became close with them in such a way that they became family.
