New Grandmas Demi Moore & Emma Willis React to 1st Granddaughter's Birth Announcement

Rumer Willis and Derek Richard Thomas shared the first public image of their baby, Louetta Isley Thomas Willis, late on Tuesday, after her home birth exactly a week earlier.

"You are pure magic," Rumer Willis and Derek Richard Thomas said in their dual social media birth announcement. Louetta Isley Thomas Willis was born on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. "You are more than we ever dreamed of✨," the new parents concluded.

"Pure love for this little birdie❤" first-time grandmother Demi Moore commented. "Omg, we love her so so much," Emma Heming Willis said.

Celebrity friends chimed in with their well wishes. "Yes, mama …. Magical!" Hilary Duff wrote, and Riley Keough added three heart-eye emojis.

"Ummmm. Is that the cutest baby ever?! " Alyssa Milano speculated. "Congratulations!! She's perfection!" Alison Brie commented. Melanie Griffith wrote:

"She is beautiful!! Congratulations Mama! Welcome to this world, Louetta!! "

On December 21, 2022, the two grandmas seemingly coordinated their social media posts to break the baby news. "Entering my hot kooky unhinged grandma era," Demi declared.

She posted photos of Derek kissing his partner's pregnant belly, a second snap of Rumer Willis in profile, and a variation of the first shot.

"Baby news is happy news!!! Congratulations [Rumer Glenn Willis] and [Derek Richard Thomas]. We are elated over here!" step-grandmother Emma posted, adding two of the same images as Demi but starting with the silhouette snap.

Demi and Bruce Willis have created the model of a blended family since their separation in 2018. The "Ghost" actress thanked her ex for their blended clan on his birthday last year.

They spend most holidays as a unit, and the exes sheltered in place in the same home during the 2020 lockdown. On behalf of their family, the actress posted on social media in March 2022 that Bruce had received an aphasia diagnosis, "which is impacting his cognitive abilities."

Bruce married the model Emma Heming in 2008, and he famously got along with Demi's second husband, Ashton Kutcher, before they split in 2013.

On International Women's Day 2021, Demi Moore wrote that she sees Emma as family, "Our children are sisters, and yet there is no name for what our family connection is to one another."
