Nothing has been confirmed yet, but Nicholson is rumored to be dealing with Alzheimer's and slowly losing parts of his memory. Despite nothing being confirmed, reports still take the actor's absence from the public as a worrying sign of his life.
However, Bill'O'Reilly commented on the rumors and said Nicholson was doing just fine. In fact, O'Reilly expressed how "disgusted" he was by these reports and knew they were false because he had been at Nicholson's house not so long ago.
The famous commentator said he was friends with the Hollywood star and said Nicholson himself had been following the news and was shocked at the reports about his health.

Even though "The Shining" star is 85 years old, and his age might have been an added reason to these health allegations, O'Reilly clarified that he was still "intellectually nibble" than some people occupying high government positions.
So, as sad as the commentator was about these reports and that people believed them, he wanted to set the record straight for his friend and wished Nicholson the best of luck.
Contrary to O'Reilly's remarks about the Hollywood star, The Daily Mail reported that a close friend said in 2021 that Nicholson was not leaving the house and was reportedly under the care of his son and daughter.

The reported close friend also allegedly revealed that Nicholson was doing fine physically, but "his mind is gone," said the source.
What's Going On with Jack Nicholson's Hands?
After almost 18 months out of the public eye, Nicholson went out for a Lakers game and was seen exchanging words of encouragement and a hug with the famous basketball player LeBron James.
But this was his second outing. He had been spotted two weeks before on his balcony, and the actor looked relaxed as he enjoyed the morning breeze.
His appearance at the Lakers game was more put together than the one from his Mulholland Drive home in Beverly Hills.
For the basketball game, the actor wore a black blazer, a button-up shirt and added a pop of color with red pants. He also kept his dark sunglasses on throughout the game.
It had been a while since "The Departed" star had joined the masses for basketball games since the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, while many were excited to see the three-time Oscar winner out and about, they worried about the sports on his hands. One Twitter user called them "vampire's hands," while another said, "Damn, look at them hands on Jack Nicholson. At least he's still kicking, though, 86 and still kicking."
Besides the long list of accolades under Nicholson's name, he's also notoriously known for being a ladies' man. Still, since getting older and becoming more private, some of his friends have worried that he will die alone.
The actor has only been married once to Sandra Knight, and their marriage ended about four years before his acting breakthrough.
But since when he broke into fame, one of his more well-known romances was with Angelica Houston. Nicholson might have headlined many papers at the peak of his career, but a source clarified that the actor loved his home and called his castle.
He understood that his friends and fans might worry about him and want him to appear publicly a few times, but he's privately in touch with his family, and "his socializing days are long gone," explained the source.
Jack Nicholson Doesn't Live Up to His Reputation: His Ex and Grandkid Reveal His Personality
Since Nicholson has openly spoken about how much he loved the attention from women, his reputation when it comes to relationships seemed tainted from the outside.
However, his first and only wife spoke about what it was like to be married to the Hollywood star. Knight revealed that Nicholson was a caring and loving husband. "We had a very beautiful, sweet marriage," she said. One that even gave them their daughter Jennifer, born in 1963.

After Nicholson and Knight divorced, she moved away with Jennifer, and that was said to have been devasting for the actor, so much that it drove him away from commitment. "Marriage was a hot stove. He touched it, got burned, and never did it again," said Marc Eliot, author of "Nicholson: A Biography."
In addition to Jennifer, the actor has five more children. Seven years after his first daughter, he had a son Caleb with his costar from "Five Easy Pieces," Susan Anspac.
He welcomed his third child, Honey Hollman, with model Winnie Hollman, but her mother raised her in Denmark. With his ex-girlfriend, Rebecca Broussard, he shares Lorraine and Ray, then his youngest daughter is Tessa Gourin, whom he had with Jennine in 1994.

The actor does not have a close relationship with all his children, but he has a tight one with Lorraine and Ray. He confessed that with them, he wanted to be a more hands-on father and be inspirational.
He read to them as children and took them to the opera, ballet, and basketball games, which he's glad they enjoy. The actor even said his children loved being on set with him.
Nicholson was a well-sought-after actor until his retirement, which took away from his time with his children. One close source even revealed that not prioritizing family was one of the actor's biggest regrets.

But after years of focusing on work, his perspective has changed, and moved toward spending quality time with his family.
Even his grandson Duke said they hardly ever speak about acting, mainly sports, and getting to know each other deeply. "Jack has realized there are more important things in life, like family," said a close friend.
