Kadee Strickland's Husband Jason Behr: Parenthood Strengthened Their Bond
KaDee Strickland's husband, Jason Behr, is a star much like his wife. The actor, who began performing at a young age, has been married to Strickland for nearly two decades and shares a son with the "Private Practice" actress.
KaDee Strickland is an actress whose onscreen career began in the late 1990s. She had a walk-on role in the 1999 mystery film, "The Sixth Sense." That year, she also appeared in "The Sterling Chase" and the biographical drama "Girl Interrupted."
Strickland became a familiar face onscreen afterward, primarily appearing in films like "Diamond Men," "Bomb the System," "The Street Lawyer," "Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid," and "Grudge."

In 2007, she joined the main cast of the comedy-drama series, "Private Practice," playing Dr. Charlotte King opposite Taye Diggs and Kate Walsh. Fans may also recognize the actress from "Secrets and Lies," "Shut Eye," and "American Gangster."
Her most recent work comes from her role as the ever-optimistic Debbie Landry in the thriller series "Cruel Summer." However, Strickland isn't the only one with acting prowess; her husband is a star in his own right.

The following year, Behr became a series regular in "Sherman Oaks," appearing as Tyler Baker in 24 out of 35 episodes. When "Sherman Oaks" ended in 1997, he had a guest role in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Behr also starred in "Dawson's Creek," alongside Michelle Williams and Katie Holmes and "Roswell," with Katherine Heigl and Colin Hanks. From 2002 onward, he mainly appeared in films, including "Grudge," "Skinwalkers," and "Dragon Wars: D-War."
After a brief role in "Breakout Kings" in 2012, he took a lengthy hiatus from screen acting. Behr returned in 2020 as Tripp Manes in "Roswell, New Mexico." He played Zor-El the following year in "Supergirl," opposite Melissa Benoist.
Behr met Strickland when they collaborated on the 2004 horror film, "Grudge." He asked for her hand in marriage the following year, and Strickland thought it was the most romantic thing he'd ever done for her.
The proposal coincided with the actress's thirtieth birthday celebration. But, as she recalled, "I thought the celebration was for my birthday and had no idea that the flip side of that would be an engagement. Pretty special." They married in November 2006.
The Couple Has a Son
Behr and Strickland announced they were expecting a baby in May 2013. They welcomed their first and only child, Atticus Behr, on October 17, 2013. The now-9-year-old frequently appears on his parents' social media posts, depicting their family outings and adventures.
For Strickland and Behr, the arrival of their son deepened their bond. Strickland knew she had fallen in love with Behr, but her affection for "The Tattooist" star grew stronger when he became a dad.
"I fell madly in love with him, but I had no idea just how extraordinary he was until I saw him become a father," she gushed. Strickland even likened Behr to a unicorn, marveling over how much fatherhood made him a better man.
The 47-year-old continued raving about how "remarkable" Behr was throughout her pregnancy and birth, which took place in their home with the help of midwives and a doula. "Every day, he amazes me," she said.
