Gwen Stefani’s Ex Says They’re Not Co-parenting Their 3 Sons Years after He Allegedly Cheated with Their Nanny
- Gwen Stefani's ex-husband Gavin Rossdale opened up about their co-parenting relationship.
- He revealed they had different parenting styles but saw it as an advantage for their kids to have different life perspectives.
- The former couple's marriage did not end well, but the kids have always been their priority.
Gwen Stefani and her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale ended their marriage back in 2015 following Rossdale's alleged infidelity with the couple's nanny.
Since then, the couple have been co-parents to their three children, or so it seems. In a recent interview, Rossdale confessed, he and Stefani, who's been married to Blake Shelton since 2021, are not co-parenting.

Rossdale recently opened up about his co-parenting relationship with Stefani on the "Not So Hollywood" podcast now that they have moved on with their lives.
Rossdale, who shares sons Kingston, 17, Zuma, 14, and Apollo, 9 with Stefani, revealed that he and the former "The Voice" judge are actually not co-parents, explaining:
"I think you can go one of two ways — you can either do everything together and really co-parent, and see how that goes — or you can just parent. And I think we just parent."

Instead of trying to be on the same page about everything, the British rock star said he found it better if they raised their children however each deems best for their boys.
In fact, he believes having two opposing parenting styles will expose their sons to different perspectives and allow them to choose aspects from both sides that they find best for themselves. The rockstar reiterated:
"What's important is to give them a wide view of things, and we have some particularly opposing views, so I think it'd be really helpful for them to make their own minds as individuals."

Stefani and Rossdale were married for 13 years before they called it quits. Nonetheless, the former couple swore to keep their children their main priority no matter what happened between them.
Why Did Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale End Their Marriage?
Stefani and Rossdale's marriage ended on an unhappy note. According to reports, Rossdale was caught having an affair with their long-time family nanny Mindy Mann.
Stefani reportedly discovered her husband's affair in February 2015. One of their nannies found explicit messages and nude photos of Mann on the family iPad that was connected to Rossdale's phone.

The singer fired her long-time nanny but did not end things with her husband, who explained the texts as an innocent "flirtation." However, a few months later, Rossdale confessed to being unfaithful to his wife, prompting Stefani to end their marriage, announcing their separation in August 2015.
A source close to the "Used to Love You" singer revealed that Stefani was distraught by her husband's admission to the affair. "She was mortified, livid, and embarrassed," added the source.

Reports also revealed that the affair between Rossdale and Mann lasted three years, including when Stefani was pregnant with their youngest son, Apollo.
After being a long-time employee of Stefani, Mann also seemed to have adopted the singer's style. The singer and her nanny were spotted wearing almost identical outfits in 2014. Stefani was photographed on the way to her acupuncture appointment wearing an olive green jumpsuit, with her iconic blonde hair tied into a ponytail, red lips, and sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Mann wore a replica of the jumpsuit when she joined Rossdale and the kids for lunch in Los Angeles. She also channeled the same blond hair as Stefani.
All about Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s Sons
Outside of the sad ending to their marriage, Stefani and her husband brought three sons into this world who inspire them in many ways.
The father of four said his children inspire him to make the best music, and he always wants his children to be proud to show off his music to their friends.
The eldest of the three boys is Kingston, born in May 2006. The 17-year-old has an Instagram account, mostly consisting of him and his girlfriend, makeup artist Lola Albert. There are a few selfies and pictures with his dad too.
Kingston has shown interest in music, and instead of letting him get straight into making music, Rossdale introduced his son to many bands and encouraged him to look back at where it all started. Not only do Kingston and his father share a love for music, but he's also his father's twin.
The second born, Zuma, was born in August 2008. Stefani said that out of all the kids, Zuma had the best sense of humor but was also the most challenging child.
For instance, the 15-year-old once broke both his arms in six weeks. He broke one after falling off the chair, and right after it healed, he broke another arm from a bicycle accident.
Rossdale revealed Zuma, who Stefani described as her "mini-min" on his 14th birthday, beat himself up about the accident but was brave, making him proud of how well his son dealt with breaking both his arms.
The youngest, Apollo, arrived in 2014, and his brothers adored him from the moment he came home. Apollo might be a grown nine-year-old now, but his mother confessed to how sad she was when she had to take her youngest son to kindergarten. The singer said, "I got a baby in kindergarten now, which was devastating. But he's so excited, and he's doing so well."
Being the youngest of three brothers made Apollo the star of the family, and his big brothers are very overprotective. But from a parent's point of view, it is beautiful to see siblings get along. "They just love him. There is no jealousy because they care about him," said Rossdale proudly.
The proud father might not always love it when he has to go on tour and not be with his children, but when he's home, he loves to share their special moments.
Last year, Rossdale shared a photo of him surrounded by his four kids, including his adult daughter, Daisy, whom he welcomed with another woman before his marriage to Stefani.
