Gunner Nicholas Sixx, son of a renowned bassist, showcased his musical talent after co-founding a music band. Additionally, he expresses his artistic side by sharing his artwork on social media.

While he is commonly known for being Nikki Six's son, Gunner Nicholas Sixx has also made a name for himself as a gifted musician and visual artist. At the time of writing, he had over 16,000 followers on Instagram and received hundreds of likes for his art.

Despite his parents' relationship ending, Gunner Nicholas Sixx shares a close relationship with his father. In a sentimental birthday post, Nikki Sixx revealed that his son is his "best friend" and "hero."

Gunner Nicholas Sixx Is One Half of the Founders of Musical Group Figs Vision

In 2013, Gunner's father turned to social media to proudly introduce his son's music. Although Gunner and long-time friend Jordan Spoliansky had been making music for a while, they only decided to share their sound with the public later. Gunner said:

"Figs Vision came about through a long friendship formed on and inspired by all types of music. Eventually, we decided we wanted to share the music we'd been making. We named the band after a very dear friend to us, Old Fig."

Over the years, the musical duo grew to include two more members, Zackary Darling and Michael Musselman. And after a three-year hiatus, Figs Vision made a musical comeback after releasing the music video for one of their tracks, "Boy Pressure," from their EP, "Choo Choo."

However, Gunner's band has been quiet on social media following their reunion, as their last Instagram post came in September 2020. Aside from music, Gunner is also an artist. He often takes to Instagram to share snaps of his colorful and abstract work, regularly receiving hundreds of likes.

Gunner Nicholas Sixx Got Married in 2019

In 2019, Gunner and his ex-wife, Daria "Dasha" Shubina, took a trip to Las Vegas to tie the knot and had the ceremony officiated by an Elvis impersonator. Following the special event, the couple created a GoFundMe that read:

"We did not have a formal celebration with everyone but would like to open the invitation for anyone who feels like being involved to donate some $$$ and help send us to a good start."

However, Gunner and his ex-wife's marriage only lasted two years, as in 2021, both parties jointly filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Courts.

Gunner's mom, Brandi Brandt, was commonly known for being a model and actress. She was named Playboy's Playmate of the Month before she met Nikki Sixx.

However, after the couple married, like Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson, Gunner's parents grew a reputation for their rocky relationship, and his mother was involved in a drug-related saga.

Despite his parents' past, Gunner has maintained a close relationship with his father. In honor of Gunner's 25th Birthday, Nikki Sixx turned to Facebook and wrote, "Happy 25th birthday to my hero and son Gunner."

The post also featured three pictures of the father-son duo—including images of Gunner as a baby revealing he and Brandi had welcomed their son on January 25, 1991.
