Danica Patrick's Kids: The Former Racer Went through IVF Treatment to Freeze Her Eggs
Danica Patrick, the former professional racer and author, made a proactive decision regarding her family planning by undergoing IVF treatment to freeze her eggs, ensuring the possibility of having children in the future. She has also expressed feelings about children.
Danica Patrick is excellent with kids. Even though she was not ready for kids in 2013, children were drawn to her, which made them more interested in her chosen sport, NASCAR racing.
The sportswoman and celebrity transcended sports and has touched lives beyond the speedway and black-and-white checkered flags. However, her eventual route to motherhood might not be traditional, but it will be rooted in her traditional values.

Danica Patrick's Stance on Having Kids Someday
"I don't think social services would feel good about me driving 200 miles an hour with a baby in my belly," Patrick joked when asked about babies in 2013 when she was still racing.
She was more forthcoming about her plans when penning her diet book, "Pretty Intense" in 2017. The first woman to lead the Indianapolis 500 shared:
"My job doesn't allow for time off, so as a woman driven to succeed at all costs, I decided to undergo IVF treatment to freeze my eggs. I wanted a backup plan-or, maybe someday, an actual plan!"
The IVF treatments wreaked havoc on her body, which gave her insight into how hormonal changes affect weight loss for pregnant women, and people in general.
In her 2017 EPIX documentary, "Danica," she admitted to not always wanting kids, but it became "more of a thought" with her being in a committed relationship at that time. However, she feels she must be married before starting a family with a partner.
Other celebrity moms who have gotten pregnant via IVF treatments include Courteney Cox, Celine Dion, Michelle Obama, Brooke Shields, and Chrissy Teigen.

Danica Patrick Has Done a Lot of Work on Herself
The Daytona 500 starter has done a lot of introspection and "inner child work." Patrick treats her inner child as if it was her physical child. This helps her make "makes better decisions."
Randy Bernard said she attracted more kids than women supporters to the sport.
In 2022, she decided to have breast explant surgery. She believes that the augmentation she received in her early 30s led to many health complications, known under the umbrella of breast implant illness.

Kids Love Danica Patrick and She Has the Hardware to Prove It
Patrick has won the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, Favorite Female Athlete, on multiple occasions and made a showing as a presenter. She enjoys interacting with the younger generation as it "grounds" her, she said, adding,
"It humbles me and gives me perspective."
Former CEO of the IndyCar series, Randy Bernard, said she attracted more kids than women supporters to the sport. For a sport to survive, the youth needs to be active participants.
Patrick travels the country with her two dogs, Dallas and Ella, who sometimes make cameos when she goes for promotional appearances at schools and after-school programs.
The racer, who was told she would "make a great mom someday," was once married to physical therapist Paul Hospenthal, but they divorced in 2012 after seven years of marriage.
