‘Weak and Very Tired’: Madonna Slow to Recover & Spends a Lot of Time in Bed amid Infection

Madonna's health for the past few days has been a huge concern for her loved ones and fans. While the "Queen of Pop" is set to start her world tour in less than two weeks, she is yet to recover fully.

With her highly anticipated world tour set to commence in less than two weeks, singer Madonna's health is still at stake. According to reports, the "Queen of Pop" is slowly recovering from a severe infection.

Even though Madonna is set to hit the stage in a couple of days, a source told TMZ that the "Material Girl" singer is still "Weak and very tired" and has been spending much time in bed.

Despite the circumstances surrounding Madonna's health, the Grammy-Award winner has yet to postpone her tour and discuss the matter with the people she interacts with.

As reported, Madonna was discovered unresponsive and subsequently taken to a hospital in New York City. Following admission, she received intubation treatment for at least one night before removing the tube. Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon, remained by her side throughout this ordeal.

In a recent Instagram post, Madonna's longtime manager, Guy Oseary, shared that his client had "developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU." Oseary further stated that Madonna's health had improved, and she was still under medical care.

A source close to Madonna told CNN that the veteran singer is reportedly feeling better, taking rest, and diligently adhering to the instructions provided by her doctors.

Madonna's fans have expressed significant concerns about her health, as evident in their responses to Oseary's post. Some fans requested updates on her condition, while others mentioned the need to cancel their travel plans and hotel reservations.

This reaction came after a portion of Oseary's statement stated pausing all commitments, including the tour. Also, Madonna's last Instagram post was on June 20, a few days before being hospitalized.

According to a family member, Madonna's condition was extremely critical to the point where her relatives were mentally preparing themselves for the worst outcome. The family member revealed they went through several distressing, uncertain days, unsure whether Madonna would make it through.

A day before Madonna was hospitalized, the mom of six went sightseeing in New York City and visited a fashion exhibition with friends.
