Gabby Barrett Says Her Daughter Is Her 'First Priority over Music'

In 2020, Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner happily revealed they were expecting a daughter. Since tying the knot in 2019, the couple prayed and discussed for this special moment to happen. Cade said:

"So we started trying pretty much at the start of the whole pandemic. It happened pretty quickly. We were expecting it to take a little while, and it seemed like the first try that it happened, so we were just so excited."

The couple's excitement grew as they announced on Instagram that their precious baby daughter, Baylah May Foehner, was born on January 18, 2021.

Baylah recently turned two years old, and Gabby could not help but feel sentimental about her daughter, who she calls her "twin."

Gabby and her husband have embraced the joy of parenthood as they care for their first child. Gabby, in particular, has made it clear that Baylah is her "first priority over music" and will defend and protect her always.

The doting mom also mentioned that her daughter accompanies her on the bus while working. During this time, Baylah stays on the bus with her nanny, who takes care of her.

Although Baylah has a nanny, Gabby ensures that she spends time with her daughter before needing to attend her makeup, interviews, or performances, after which she resumes her role as a mom.

Gabby is thankful that she has balanced her career and motherhood. While she noted that there have been challenges along the way, she is amazed by her daughter Baylah's flexibility.

Gabby Barrett & Cade Foehner Hides Their Kids' Faces for a Reason

Now a family of four, Gabby Barrett and Cade continue to relish their moments with their children on several occasions, such as Christmas, Father's Day, and Thanksgiving. The couple also blurs their kids' faces when sharing family photos online.

As a mother of two, Gabby explained that their motivation for making this decision is to protect Baylah from potential online predators, hoping that their fans would respect their decision.

Keeping their kids out of the public's eye has been a practice that most celebrity parents have followed. Like Gabby and Cade, couples Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, Matt Damon and Lucia Barroso, Kirsten Bell, and Dax Shepard, have kept their children's lives private as much as possible.
