At the beginning of July 2023, an insider close to "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, blew the whistle on their reported divorce. The insider claimed the couple had been "separated for a while."

This person added that despite the split, Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards remained "amicable" while living under the same roof and figuring out what was next in their relationship. The couple immediately addressed the allegations with a joint statement on Instagram.

"Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue," they declared. Umansky and Richards admitted that 2023 had been the most challenging year for their marriage but were working on their issues privately.

They also requested, "While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative." Many assume this statement alluded to rumors of an extra-marital affair on Richards' end with her friend, Morgan Wade.

Wade gained recognition for her musical talent in 2021 with the release of her debut album "Reckless." She met the actress in 2022 after the reality TV star "stalked" her on social media after listening to her music.

Afterward, they continually appeared on each other's Instagram timelines. They grew close and even got matching tattoos. When the news of Richards' reported divorce broke, paparazzi caught up with her and asked about her relationship with Wade.

"We are very good friends," she responded. When asked about their matching tattoos, she showed the reporters her matching ink with her friend Teddi Mellencamp, who was accompanying her. "She's not the only one I have matching tattoos with," she said of Wade.
