Steve Carell famously played Michael Scott for over 100 episodes of "The Office." However, he had already made strides in Hollywood by the time the show's first season ended. Some of his early films include "Bruce Almighty," "Bewitched," and "The 40-Year-Old Virgin."

In 2010, Carell announced his exit from the beloved sitcom to spend more time with his family and focus on his film career. Since then, his film career has been nothing short of successful. Some of his notable movies include "Date Night," "Despicable Me," "Despicable Me 2," "Crazy, Stupid, Love," and many more.

He also returned to television, starring in "The Patient" and "The Morning Show," to which he previously discussed a possible return. Besides his career, Carell has been doing well as a husband to Nancy Carell and a father to their two children, Johnny Carell and Elisabeth Anne Carell.
