Jenna Fischer Is Joined by 'The Office' Co-star Ellie Kemper after Recently Breaking Her Shoulder

Jenna Fischer and Ellie Kemper were all smiles in a recent Instagram post after the former co-stars started their week with a coffee date. The mini "The Office" reunion occurred after Fischer revealed she had broken her shoulder, which left her needing physical therapy.

In a recent Instagram post, Fischer and Kemper wore beaming smiles as they posed for the camera, and in the caption, Fischer revealed, "Look who came by to keep me and my broken shoulder company today! Thanks for the coffee and laughter, @elliekemper. You are the best!"

Kemper shared the same picture of the former co-stars casually dressed and captioned the post, "Ummm, what do we have here?! A nice little Monday coffee with the loveliest @msjennafischer….not a bad way to start the week! PS sending all good healing vibes for that broken shoulder, lady."

On April 12, "The Office" star took to Instagram to announce that she had broken her shoulder in a post that received over 250,000 likes at the time of writing and read, "Turns out I took spring break a little too literally. I broke my right shoulder and will be in a sling for the next six weeks, followed by physical therapy."

Fortunately, Fischer's injury did not affect her podcast, "Office Ladies," which she co-hosts with Angela Kinsey. "Luckily, we recorded some extra episodes of Office Ladies before we left town. Fischer is commonly known for her role as Pam Beesly, whose character appeared in 188 episodes of NBC's "The Office." Her iconic role earned her a supporting actor in a comedy series Emmy nomination in 2007, and over the years, Fischer has also landed roles in "Blades of Glory," Clint Eastwood's "The 15:17 to Paris," "Solitary Man," Mike White's "Brad's Status," "Hall Pass," and "A Little Help."

In February 2023, Jenna Fischer showed no signs of slowing down when it was announced that she would be joining the previously announced cast, including Tina Fey, of Paramount Pictures' new film "Mean Girls." Fischer is set to play the role of Ms. Heron, Cady Heron's mom, in the film based on the 12 Tony-nominated Broadway musical by Fey.
